I purchased this a couple years back to replace the clutch on my hammerhead GTS150 GO Kart and it's still working great. Can't beat it for the money and installation was super easy.

I installed this product clean and easy but now my motor won't even move somethings not right with this needs proper springs and weights I believe. it's too bad the seller won't reply either

First, I'll just say there is nothing wrong with the part itself. It's a perfectly adequate STOCK clutch assembly and variator. After installation, it works just fine, and my gokart runs great again. It includes what you see in the ad photo, and nothing extra (no nuts or washers).My big issue is with the product description as a "high performance clutch set". It isn't. It's just a plain, stock replacement. It's the same springs in the clutch, the same clutch material, everything is just stock. I measured the weights, and all were between 12.72 and 12.86 grams each...so they are 13g variator weights, just like stock. The ONLY thing I can see that is different at all, is the variator cage cushions have been changed to red, instead of black. But they even feel like the same rubber.If I had read the reviews first, I would have saved twenty bucks and bought a stock replacement at a lower price. They are essentially swindling people out of an extra $20 by claiming their product is something it isn't, and it irritates me greatly. 2 stars, because at least the part functions, and I feel like more people will read a 2 star review than a 1 star review.

I thought this was all going to fit but the variator hole is too small to go over the crankshaft had to use the old one if I would have known this I would not have bought the whole kit not impressed

So first things first. Its a replacement clutch that will in fact work if you've ordered according to your engine type and code. With that being said I'm not sure what exactly makes this a "High Performance " clutch assembly because from everything I've noticed with this particular package I cannot see anything clearly different from a stock clutch assembly of a similar style with the exception of some red variator bushings and black rollers. There is absolutely no Performance upgrades to the rear clutch assembly at all from my observations. The entire rear clutch assembly including the clutch pads, internal springs and torque spring are all completely stock based off my comparison to 3 other worn out clutch assemblies of the exact specs. In the end it works if you need a clutch replacement in working order but don't expect to get anything clearly "High Performance ".
