I made sure the device met all the correct specifications, including amps and volts. However, the new unit was a bit different from the old one. It had a switch embedded on the side, which made me skeptical, especially since the previous model didn’t have one. I initially wondered if the change was due to technological upgrades over the years. The wiring colors were also different, but I went ahead and installed it anyway. So far, everything’s working perfectly. Despite the differences, the frame and outside diameter were an exact match. Since the unit was about 20 years old, I assumed the upgrades were just part of the evolution in technology.

Matched up the part for a Coleman furnace however I did not check to see that it was actually 230 volts. Never have I ever come across a furnace that has a 230 volt inducer motor. Unfortunately I had it installed before I noticed this mistake. Now I have to order a motor and swap it out for an extra $65. Not very happy with this purchase.
