I work on my own HVAC and am knowledgeable about its operation, but I am not a professional HVAC technician. I determined through testing that my Goodman GMV95xx 2-stage needed both a control board and a new blower motor. OEM blower motor was available for $1200. This universal model is a considerable savings.Your OEM blower motor is likely a combined blower motor and control unit. This product separates the control unit from the blower motor. Everything plugged in with the same connectors as my OEM motor/controller with provided wiring harnesses. Though, other harnesses were provided that could require different wiring depending on your model and installation. Either way, the kit provided what was needed. But be prepared to read your wiring diagram in case yours in not "plug-n-play". A professional would have no problem with this.The control unit provided has multiple settings that make it universal for different models, such as blower speed. You may have to adjust the blower speed to achieve the correct temperature rise per manufacturer specs.Is this a DIY product? I did it and am very happy with the savings. But I did my research and fix a lot of things. You will have to remove the motor from the blower housing and install the new one. If you are not mechanically inclined and comfortable working on your HVAC unit, you can buy this product and have a professional install it, saving on the parts.Time will tell about the longevity of the motor, but it appears to a good quality build.

I have a goodman furnace and my hvac guy said I needed a new blower to get it running again. He quoted me $1300 for a replacement. I shopped around and found the original part from $950-$1400. Then I found this replacement part. I hired an hvac team to install it for me... took about an hour and cost $150 for install (I'm sure it can be done cheaper). It may be possible to install this (diy) yourself as it does come with instructions and there is a YouTube instruction video as well. Either way it fit and we've ran it twice. I'll update this review once it gets cold enough to really rest it out but it's still in the 90's here in the deep south. This replaced the goodman blower part # 0231k00037a (1hp motor). My hvac guy said he had never installed one of these but had zero issues. So far, I recommend this replacement part. I will update after two months of use. The pics are what my furnace looks like (reference) and what the original part looks like that I replaced.

This motor replaced the blower motor in my Goodman furnace. It has been in operation for about one month now and works fine. Saved several hundred dollars buying this motor over the original. Installation was easy with included instructions. We had a minor shipping issue that was quickly resolved. Very good customer service.

I can't give zero stars or I would. This item came but had already been used. It was missing pieces from the box and was totally useless. I assume it had been returned once because of the missing part. NOT HAPPY!
