Clever hangboards. Because of the angles for the rope to slot into, the pentagram shape is definitely the way to go. I haven't used the crimp slots yet, but it's to know they're there when I'm ready. The wood is smooth, no chance of getting a splinter. Overall happy

These are super thick and should be good for any weight climber. I like the milling they did - it's very straight and the beveling is excellent. They are not solid wood, but laminate, for those who may be looking for solid. But for me, these will work just fine. You might want to pre-chalk these before hanging them to get a layer starting and prevent premature discoloration. Super nice and I look forward to increasing my grip strength on these for years to come! 10/10.

These pentagons appear to be almost exact knock offs of the original YY Penta, which is currently available at the same price. About the only difference is that the hold depths aren't marked, but it's pretty easy to figure them out. Edge sizes are 10mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 25mm. The 10mm edge is opposite the 15mm edge and can be paired for thumb training.As with the YY Penta and other Penta clones out there, these are too small to work well as pull-up rings unless you have small hands. They do work well in a hangboard configuration and it would be easy to bring one to a crag for part of your warmup. I personally prefer to just use them for no-hang training by attaching them to floor weights. To save on re-racking, I have them clipped to two different loads and just work one hand at a time.Five stars if this weren't a copy of the original.

So my Father was a gymnast back in high school. You want to talk about some awesomely hard, nostalgic exercise?! Get yourself a pair of these climbing rings and start playing around 'Old School' style!These rings are not just a great workout but a heck of a lot of fun too! Had everyone over for my son's birthday party last and the whole family came out to the gym to take turns at trying Grandpa's old gymnastics moves. Iron L Sit, Iron Cross, whatever you call it where they're above the rings and lay flat.... we had a ball and got a whole lot of exercise just playing around. Also great for multi level pushups, rows and abs. If you can think, you can probably figure out a way to do it. Fun - fun - fun!!Now let's talk real life exercise:....... these work! Rings are made of a solid, one piece, unfinished wood. Soft and smooth on the hands with plenty of texture left to grip. No shards or splinters sticking out anywhere. Definitely made with an eye for quality and meant to be used straight out of the box. The nylon webbing support straps are also heavy duty, high quality and LONG! Check out the pic and do the math..... they're roughly 15+ feet in length. Plenty long enough to wrap around and hang from whatever cross member/tree limb you can find. The alligator clips were a little tricky to figure out at first. They only hold if you feed the webbing through one way, so hopefully the pictures help. However, once fed properly, they're easy to adjust and hold strong! My 205 lbs booty couldn't make 'em budge no matter how hard my arms shook!If these are gonna live outside where they get exposure to the elements, then you might want to seal up the rings with a coat of varnish or something to keep the wood nice. Otherwise, for the inside gym user, I think they're just fine on their own as they come.When I finally nail that Iron Cross, I'll update. For now, get yourself a pair, hang 'em up, have some fun and get one heck of a great workout!! Enjoy!!

What I like:- Compact, so easy to store.- Solid, no flex or worries about it holding the weight.- Simple, no bulky extras or edges I won't use.What I don't like:- Some rough edges and splinters needed cleaning up.- Hanging holes too narrow for provided cordI'm new to climbing, and have been using finger hanging boards at the gym to build up my endurance, strength, and grip confidence. I ordered the EVERYMATE Climbing Holds Finger Board because it seemed like an easy way for me to add a bit of climbing training into days when I can't get to the gym.The two triangular boards are identical, very light weight, and made from bonded layers of wood. The outer faces show grain detail, so I assume these are thin slices of wood bonded together with an adhesive to make a stronger piece. They are not a solid piece of carved wood, but also do not appear to be a molded wood pulp product. The finger holds have been cut into the block with a router, and this leads to my one complaint; the routing is rushed or poorly done in several places, and each board had a couple of rough spots and splinters that needed sanding and smoothing out before the boards could be used.The compact triangular design of the units I ordered mean that I can hold the entire piece in an outside grip, use fingertips in the three grooves of differing depths, or use the drilled hole for single finger holds. This is a nice variety of options for a small piece of kit. Just make sure the object you hang them from is secure, and capable of taking your weight.All in all I'm very happy with this simple hanging board. It is perfect for me as it encourages me to practice my new hobby while at the same time not taking up a lot of space. An easy 4 out of 5 stars.

These grips have several different depths of grip for training and provide a nice variety of training options. The grips are nice and smooth with no sharp edges or defects that are going to rip calluses or cause unnecesarry damage while hanging.These are probably a bit more difficult to use than a static mount hang board. Hanging from a pull up bar, tree / etc... they can develop some swinging motion, and it requires extra body control and care to either limit or ride through the swing. That said these are small enough you can probably bring them with you in a backpack and use them almost anywhere.Overall these seem to be a very nice piece of gear and well worth the investment.
