Granted it lights and adjust from light to brighter BUT when the lighting is uneven it is actually harder to read the sheet music. I'll keep it because I waited too long trying to make it work, but I will try a different style and company. I wouldn't recommend this one.

great light for the price. I love that it uses replacable AAA batteries. While it comes with standard batteries, it runs fine on recharables.

Got two of 8 bulb style. One works fine the other would not turn on. So sent the ineffective one back.The casing does not feel robust. Expect second will break during transport. The charging cable is not standard size either (not Micro USB on light end for example or type C) so can’t interchange with other devices. Once the cable is lost/broken, well then just battery.Not a great product.
