Very flimsy, I would not recommend this product. Anything over 15 pounds and it flexes pretty heavily. Better off going to the hardware store.

These closet rod supports are really sturdy. I noticed that my closet rods were sagging in a concerning way, so I picked up a few in order to prevent them from breaking. They add stability and support without taking up a lot of space. They worked well in my cramped space because they have some adjustability too

Coats and jackets are heavy. I used four of these for a long closet rod, screwing into studs, with a 1 1/2" diameter wooden clothes rod (heavy duty). By the time I had the clothes loaded on, these brackets were all slightly flexing. The parts are riveted together and I think they'll be ok, but slightly more expensive ones are sturdier AND they have larger holes pre-drilled in them which means you can use heavier screws. I wouldn't buy these again for coats.

Fits perfectly. Thought it would be too long based on my measurements, but no. Definitely makes a difference when you have a lot of clothes. Install was easy, and it contains all hardware needed to install. Sturdy. Great value for the money.

The dimensions shown for these brackets are NOT as described. First of all, the brackets are not 1-inch wide. Instead, they are 15/16 inch wide. Also, in the diagram, the 10.8-inch horizontal arm is more like 11” before the pole holder (that's actually a good thing!), and the 10.8-inch vertical arm is much shorter, at about 10.125 inches. And finally, if you wish to bolt the brackets into the wood studs behind wallboard, you’ll need to purchase, as I did, appropriately long and strong wood screws. Are these brackets well made? YES they are. They also look very nice. But you cannot rely on the seller's dimensions to correctly plan out your project.

Purchased these for hanging closet rods and they are heavy duty and a great price, I went to hardware store and the smaller ones cost more than these. I put up 2 - 5 1/2 ft. rods and loaded them with clothes/coats, they take the weight. I also placed a 10 ft. board across the top for a nice wide shelf. Packaged very well, no scratches. I am ordering 4 more in 8 weeks for another project in the shed. Truly an excellent buy and that's not something we can all count on these days.
