This Clothes hanger pole has come in very handy for so many other things besides our clothes on hangers high-up. We used it to help with Christmas lights and pulling hats and things to us on a high shelf and even reached to get a scraggly branch that had fallen in a bush. Such a very useful tool.

This is now one of my favorite tools inside the house. I don't need it really for hangers, but it does work well for retrieving some overhead soft bins, and I've used it to help slide some things where I could grab it as it was falling off a higher shelf. What I use it for almost daily though is to grab the bind wands so I don't need to reach over the couch to grab the ones behind that, and to pull back curtains, as this allows me to get at the top of the curtains if there is a hang up. It feels really good for balance when it is all compact. The extension looks like it would work well too.

I got this because I need to reach laundry detergent bottles. My laundry area is super small so I have to use all the cabinet space, even the higher shelves. That means I usually have to go get a step stool to step up to be able to reach laundry detergents. This pole was the perfect solution. I’m able to use this and the hook provided to hook onto the laundry detergent handle and bring it down or put it back. It was incredibly easy to put together. Just needed to screw in the piles. It’s very sturdy and can handle heavy items. It works perfectly and worth every penny. Would highly recommend!

The first thing you notice is how sturdy and well made this pole is. It just feels solid. There is a cushioned grip handle on the bottom and a metal hook on the top. You can adjust the pole anywhere between 36" and 62". You unlock the clip, adjust to the length you need and then lock the clip in place. You can't "grab" things with it but you can "hook" things on it and move things around with it. It is useful for different things that are hard to get at, like, reaching clothes hangers that are too high, moving boxes or things around on top shelves, removing the crawling vines that take over the top of our bushes (that I can never reach and the rake won't hook onto them) and more.... whatever you can come up with. You can store it by hanging it in the closet by the metal hook end or there is a plastic closed hook on the handle end to hang on a hook or nail. Very versatile.

I originally got this reaching hook to help hang Christmas lights on my 10ft tall mega trees. Each strand of lights has a key ring at the end and there is a hook at the top of the tree to hand the ring on. I was hoping this hook would save me time by not having to climb up and down the ladder. However what I found was it was too difficult to see the key ring 10ft in the air and the hook on this pole was just a little too thick. So I gave up using the hook.However, I was very impressed at how sturdy the pole and hook were. I was afraid it would be flimsy or want to bend when I go to lift 3lbs worth of Christmas lights with it, but it didn't. After using this hook I could see where the hook could hold way more than 3 lbs. The pole also was very easy to slide in and out, while still having a very solid lock to keep it from collapsing down when lifting my lights. Finally the hand grip is a comfortable foam that has plenty of room for two hands. This way when lifting something up you can keep good control of the pole.Overall I was impressed with the quality of this reaching hook, however it did not work for what I wanted. I am sure I will find another good use for it.

I really like this hook, it is coming handy so many times. I like the weight of it as it’s not too heavy to lift especially for me being a person with health/muscle strength issues. The hook’s design allows you to use different areas on it so that you can grab various objects. The deep part of hook has been perfect to hold onto heavy objects, knowing they’re securely in place and won’t slide off. The hook part is not only great to get things at a higher height down, but I've also found the tip is great for adjusting and turning on things. It's been perfect for things like adjusting decor on my planter shelf and my outdoor security cameras. Also it's been super helpful to turn off light switches or even reach high up vines and branches to pull down for trimming.The adjustable height of the pole is a great length for someone of short height stature, such as myself. I will say, though that there have been a few issues trying to adjust the pole to various heights. The area where the pole collapses/elongates has a very tight fit therefore it takes a bit of strength along with pulling/pushing to get the pole where you want it. The adjustable clamp is super helpful. Being able to adjust the damp so it is easier to open and close has been another added feature for my health issues.As I said, this has been a great and helpful pole, so I recommend it - I just hope overtime the snug extension issue will become a little bit easier to adjust so that adjusting the pole will go a bit quicker as well as take less time and effort.
