I use these 9inch circular needles to make socks. These needles have bamboo tips which are more comfortable to use than metal tips. The tiny stitches for socks stay on the bamboo needles better too. Great product! I have several in different sizes!

The needles are very small, but they work well on small items such as childerns socks and baby clothes. I find the circular needles faster than using 4 single short knitting needles.

Sooo teeny!I am trying to conquer socks and these are the size I needed. I like the feel of bamboo needles. They can break or bend but much less slipping and clanking.

I currently have four pairs of socks I’m knitting on. These needles are so much easier to use than the double pointed needles. First time using the 9” circulars felt a little odd as you have to hold them with tips of fingers. I bet I have 6 of the 9” and 3 of the 10”.

I am making a lacy shawl, and these are perfect. The needles are so small I love knitting on circular needles, no change of losing a straight needle!

I love using these little needles. Much easier for me than the little dp needles. I use them mostly for knitting fair isle mittens and for cuffs on sweaters. The yarn slides nicely and they're true to size. I bought a couple in each of the smaller sizes just in case one broke but I've never had that happen. And I get tons of requests for mittens for so I'm using them every single day. Lots of use and they hold up great.

This product got to me exactly when they said it would and I was rather pleased about that. It also served the propose for which I bought it.

Item is as advertised, but I would advise getting metal 9” circulars (Hiya Hiyas for example) because it’ll be easier to maneuver.

This is my first time using such a tiny circular needle, but I am finding that I enjoy using these. I was worried that my hands would cramp, but I'm not feeling any pain. It does take some getting used to though. I do find that the bamboo is a bit too grippy and slows me down. Otherwise, I like that I can just keep knitting and not have to bother with DPNs or rearranging stitches and needles for magic loop knitting.

Needles this shape can be tough to knit with, but once you are comfortable, they make sock knitting a breeze. I'm flying through the socks I have to make for everyone's Christmas presents. Also, I'm a big fan of bamboo. It's tough to go back to metal once you've had a great set of bamboo needles--I'm spoiled!

Although I've knitted for years and have done some knitting on double points, I usually steer clear of db needles - stitches tend to slip off too often! But...since I loved my takumi interchangeable set so much and wanted to make more socks and leg warmers, I decided to try these. They are wonderful! My stitches stay put and the needles are very smooth and manageable. I'm almost done the first pair of socks I've knitted in years and on my way to make a half dozen more pairs. Great product and as always, Amazon delivered them to my doorstep very quickly.

I think most people buying these have a pretty good idea what they are getting. It's really convenient to have a short cirucular needle. I've used mine for the bottom of sweater sleeves, and then size up to a longer circular for the upper sleeves. The bamboo is comfortable on my hands and the stitches don't tend to accidentally slide off (which can happen easily for me with smooth metal needles). My hands feel a bit cramped knitting with them, but not too bad, and it's worth it to me to avoid dpns and ladder patterns on my projects. The only reason for 4 stars is that the cable material is pretty rigid. I prefer the more flexible cables on circular Signature Needles (but they don't make any this short).

I really love these 9-inch circular needles! They are the perfect length for knitting adult socks. The bamboo needle tips provide just enough drag to keep the stitches from accidentally dropping off - a chronic problem I have with metal double-point needles (DPNs).It is true that for the first couple of rounds you may feel as if you are knitting with matchsticks, but as the knitting grows it becomes easy to maintain a relaxed grip.I just finished my first pair of socks with these and was astonished at how fast I can complete a project without the constant needle adjustments that are required of both magic-loop knitting and traditional DPNs.The results are beautiful - absolutely smooth stockinette stitch without any trace of the laddering that can occur when knitting with DPNs.These needles have forever changed how I knit socks. Really, you should give these a try. I predict you will love them too!
