I've ridden in these when it was in the 40s and in the 70s for temperature, and they were comfy. Temps go into 30s or 80s and I think you'll want more dedicated winter / summer pants. So for the SF Bay Area, this is a great pair of pants for 75% of the year and pricing was fantastic.

A men's medium was so small, that even my wife who would be a woman's medium could not begin to button/zip these pants. I have returned them for a refund.

The leg is not tapered nearly enough to be classified as bike pants. I'd maybe call these hiking pants. The fabric attracts EVERYTHING.

Only have one ride in them but impressed so far. The material flexes well during pedaling and I didn’t feel constrained at all.

The club ride Gold Rush Pants are true to size, seem to be well constructed to hold up well and have the right amount of pockets. They are almost perfect except the different material in the knee could be longer. It sits centered over the knee when standing but when riding it puts the bottom seam over my kneecap.

Im super tall with a 35 waist so buying based off S.M,L,XL, etc is difficult for me. I bought the XL mainly for length. The pants are fairly heavy but well made. They are reinforced where its needed as well. The front pockets are shallow but will hold my phone on intense trail rides. I have noticed no restriction of movement or had the pants catch the nose of seat, etc. I cannot wear these pants in temps above 50 deg without regretting it. They are too hot. My main complaint concerns the waist adjustment system. Its pretty much useless and will clank horribly in your dryer. It was so bad I have to hang mine up to dry. For the price, I expected something more effective and refined. Ill most likely cut them off because I have to wear a belt anyway.

just an overall excellent outdoor, hiking, chilling, biking pant. Fit is a LITTLE on the baggy side but I am pretty skinny at 6' and 152 lbs (M) so for average builds might be spot on. . In fact, the twin built in belt hooks still leave the pants a tad loose so considering having them shortened at the tailor. However, these are details that matter little when you have a pant that is so comfortable, so durable, and so stylish. These dry almost instantly despite the heavyish fabric, and have held up to rack and bush abrasion without any sign of wear. I own two of these and they are the only pants I am bringing for an upcoming two week skiing road trip to Canada (except ski pants of course :-))
