I have 1st gen KLR 650 with slightly wider handle bars and this cable fits great. Better than OEM because it has extra layer of vinyl, thicker metal nub for the engine lever, and thin plastic piece at the handle bar side that rotates so there is no metal on metal contact. Would buy again.

Fit perfectly and easy to install. Only complaint is the bushing at the lever mounting point is made of plastic not brass.
