SIG Skylights are Beautiful, extremely Durable, and a Smart investment! They are backed by a Lifetime Warranty on the frame. They’re made with tempered, insulated glass that resists scratching and does not fade, haze, and easily crack like plastic skylights, making them a perfect no-maintenance replacement for acrylic dome or fiberglass skylights. The opening in each skylight matches the home’s finished opening – thus maximizing daylight into the home. The glass is specially tinted to conserve energy and reduce glare, heat gain, and UV damage. IMPORTANT! The SIG Curb Mount (CM) Skylight will fit over a curb with outside dimensions equal to the quoted skylight size. E.g. if the skylight is a CM 24x48 model, it will cover a 24” x 48” o.d. curb like a shoebox lid. The skylight cover drops 1” below the curb face for our regular CM models, and 2” below the curb face for our CM3 models. When INSTALLING SIG CM (curb mount style) skylights without an existing roof opening and curb, we recommend using a knowledgeable roofer or contractor familiar with installing skylights. Installation will require typical roofing tools and materials, including flashing. For FULL SUN locations and where glare, UV damage and heat gain are a particular concern, Solar Reflective glass is recommended. (CMBSC style). Skylight did not work there is nothing to connect the size of it to cause water not to enter the home. No flange was sent with the skylight's or anything to block out water to come in the home. This has been a total waste of money for me I had to go and buy another set to another company. Don't waste your money on this garbage.
