Accuracy of fit between cut pieces. Clean cuts, no real issues. Does just what it is supposed to do.A bit pricy, I think, but worth it.

I have used these bits to create cabinet doors and panels for my kitchen island. They create a smoother profile than other $50 sets that I have. I used a 1.75hp router (a little underpowered for raised panels). The bits didn't burn as easy as the cheaper bits. The cope cuts fit perfectly. Mine came in a foam lined plastic case. The bits have a top quality feel.

I absolutely love CMT bits, but the case which came with this set is NOT what is pictured. Rather than the custom hardwood case which is pictured, my set came in a polypropylene case which is WAY too large for this set and nowhere as cool as the hardwood case which should have come with them. The bits themselves are fabulous but the picture is deceptive.

Upon receipt I used this bit set for a raised panel I am constructing. The cuts were extraordinarily smooth. The bit heights are indeed matched. I made the cope cuts, changed bits and made the stick cuts without changing bit height. The rail and stile fit perfectly. Again, without changing bit height, I cut the raised panels. They fit perfectly.I needed to use 3 rubber grommets (as Marc Sommerfeld recommends) in my Porter-Cable router to seat the bit properly in the collet.I recommend this bit set to anyone interested in making small, raised panels.
