Very clean cut and, contrary to another reviewer, these are exactly 6mm. I used it to cut channels for 6mm carbon fiber reinforcing rods in a guitar neck. The square rods are exactly 6mm and they fit perfectly in the routed slots. I have only used this on Spanish Cedar so far so I'm not sure how it will do in harder woods. Next up... hard flame maple.

It’s 15/64 and not 6 mm. Bought this for 6mm ply but it’s under 6 mm so I had to make multiple passes. Nothing in the description said this. I’ll try to return but I used it so not holding my breath.

This bit cuts a perfectly sized 6mm dado for 1/4" thick baltic birch plywood which is actually 6mm thick. I could not find a 6mm bit in the brand I usually buy, but I am really satisfied this the CMT bit. I have cut literally a few hundred dados and the bit is still cutting cleanly and sharp.
