Bit cuts really well. however, the very tip broke off after only 2 projects. I was very careful about my speeds and feeds vs. the material type. Disappointed.

This bit is super fine and is ideal for detailed engraving. I did some tests with it and I was very impressed with how fine this will cut. It is EXTREMELY sharp, so handling it requires some care, but once you get the "Z" dialed in, it does an amazing job. I'm not sure how long the tip will stay this sharp on metal or other hard materials, but I'll be engraving some steel soon and see how it holds up. But so far I'm very impressed. It works well with my CNC at high rpms, and very little heat. I'm not sure what the 'coating' involves, but it does seem to retain its sharpness after a few easy uses.

the bit has the size that it says, but it did not work for me because i forgot to check it. point is, CHECK YOUR SHANK SIZE.

Very very good bit! I've been over paying in bits. And so far this has out lasted all the bits I have been using. For half the price I've been paying. This will be my go to from here out.

What a great engraving bit. For me, 30 degrees is kind of a sweet spot for engraving. Hogs out enough material while still enabling finer detail. Tip is definitely a bit delicate so make sure you place the bit back in its included container when not in use to ensure the tip stays protected. I am running this on my Shapeoko 4XL CNC router with a Carbide 3D router. Not sure how much can be attributed to my conservative feeds and speeds vs the NACO coating, but after a quick carve the bit still felt extremely cool to the touch implying that the edges should stay relatively sharp for an extended period of time. Extremely happy with the end mill.

i dont have very much machine time on this one to give a full opinion. but, i loaded it up and used fs wizard to get my speeds and feeds. this ate wood no problem. left a pretty clean finish too.

Even as a CNC novice, I've quickly learned that V-bits can be your bread and butter because of their lettering abilities. And for a solid carbide bit, this one is priced so well that if I break it, it won't set me back too much. Meanwhile, it's ability to pay for itself fairly quickly makes buying it an easy decision.

The tip is very delicate. Be sure your Z axis is light touch and then sneak up on the final Z.I snapped the tip on my first use. My fault …I forgot to turn the router on and the drag snapped the tip
