I used this (along with a turnbuckle, eyebolts etc.) to pull a leaning fencepost into alignment. (The gate hang from this fencepost, so the gate hadn't been latching correctly.) I was afraid it would start to unravel after I cut it (using a cable cutter, not side cutting pliers!), but it held up well. The fact that it comes with cable clamps is a plus. (The nuts on the clamps seem to be metric, but that's fine.) Recommended.

I got this for anchoring some sheds to the ground. This cable is thicker than I expected (3/16" seems about right, but I wasn't really paying attention when I ordered). Depending on your application, this MIGHT be a little hard to work with and you might want something smaller.I'm not sure why this comes in every increment of 1 foot from 1-200. As of right now, the 25 and 50 foot options are nicely priced ($18.99 and $22.98, respectively) but all the other lengths are much more expensive per foot, and all include 8 clamps. If you can do what you need to with 25 or 50 feet though, this is a great deal and some good quality rope/clamps.

I have two large sun sails with appropriate hardware but need them to be spaced away from the convenient suspension points.I have tried ropes but these frayed through.I am now replacing the ropes with sections of this wire rope - cut to length with loops formed using the cable clamps provided with this wire. This wire is really strong and the camps work fine. Both are good quality. Just what I needed, really.

Better than I expected.Pros:* Very good looking cable of good 7x19 construction. This makes it more flexible than some others and it is likely to last longer.* Clamps appear to be made of stainless steel.* Cable arrived in a plastic bag with heat shrink on both ends of the cable to prevent fraying.Cons:* Where is it made? There's no indication on the product listing or the package to indicate where this was made.* The stainless steel clamps have small u-bolts. Be careful to not strip the threads when tightening. I recommend applying some water resistant lubricant to the threads before assembly.Overall:Looks good and gets 5 stars.
