These are great- but for the life of me I couldn’t get both of the metal clamps around the bike frame (‘01 Honda shadow spirit 750 DC). Ended up using a steel cable tie to secure one side and the metal clamp on the other - has worked so far not too worried since the steel tie can also hold back quite a bit of force.
