The shield is fair. You can see where the fastening mechanism on the back of the shield is deflected, causing small dents to be visible on the outside of the shield.If you need to return or exchange them, the seller's return requirements are impossible.I'd just recommend caution in knowing the diameter of your pipes, and whether a 2 1/4 clamp, will fit. Yes, you can go buy a set of clamps that may fit, just don't forget to add a few bucks and extra time for that.Amazon's "Amazon Garage" fitment recommendations for your bike may also be suspect. I recommend researching a product before you make a purchase.

Mounted this shield onto a 26" EMGO reverse cone megaphone to prevent boot sole melting onto the muffler. Mounting took all of five minutes and is secure. It's working to prevent material melting onto the muffler. It looks good although the mounting anchor location can be faintly seen on the front of the shield, so not perfect.

Even when wrapped, my exhaust was cooking holes in my pants. Haven't had any problems since installing this.Part arrived promptly and was easy to install.

My bike throws out mad heat and will cook your pants and boots. I wrapped the pipes and installed shields.

Shipped Fast, and installed in 15 minutes. They worked great on our Montana ride. 1300 miles and my wifes shoes didn't melt all over my pipes like in the past.
