This is a fabulous set of 3 large(9x9) beginner embroideries… Everything is there for you. Packaged very nicely. I highly recommend this set. The price is well worth it…. Just a note: the needles are taped to the back of the thread board….

These three embroidery designs are so adorable! Each of the designs is packed separately with the embroidery floss needed for that specific design. A very nice touch is that they already sorted all the threads onto a card marked with the thread color number, saving me time organizing the thread!The instructions are reasonably well written/translated and while in a small type size, not *too* small to read - I didn't need to pull out my magnifier to read them (although did need to use my stronger reading glasses, lol). The pictures showing how each stitch type is sewn are very good. I really like how each pattern has a full color picture of the finished design with each area clearly marked with the thread color number, number of strands, and type of stitch to use. I am quite experienced at embroidery but do think a beginner would be able to follow these instructions and successfully complete each design.Do note this came with only ONE plastic embroidery hoop - the product's pictures are somewhat misleading in that they show three completed designs all in their own plastic hoop, but nothing in this listing specifically states that it comes with three hoops so I'm not sure if it's supposed to come with three or one. The plastic hoop is your basic plastic embroidery hoop, as expected. Not top quality but not low quality, either - it's perfectly adequate. It holds the cloth tightly enough, and so far, I've not had any slippage issues of note.The embroidery floss that this comes with is also as expected - it's not name brand quality, but it's also not super cheap quality. It's the exact thickness I expect for 6-strand embroidery floss. I'd describe it as typical mid-range quality embroidery floss. I've not had issues with tangling or fuzzing when separating the strands, and they move through the cloth and lay on it smoothly. I did a quick color-fast test of a some red and blue floss, and there was no bleeding.The linen-style cloth has a nice feel to it. It's woven evenly, and there's no fraying on the edges. I quite like the cloth and so far, my needles are moving in and out of the appropriately sized cloth easily and smoothly. Each of the designs does come with two needles (six total), and they are sharp and smooth.The little scissors are very cheap/low quality and I doubt they'll last long. They do cut, although not very well. I suggest using your own scissors/clippers and just toss these.Overall, I'm really pleased with this three-pack of absolutely adorable puppies to embroider! The hardest part so far for me has been deciding which one to work on first (the Corgi won). I do think this is a good - and fun - kit for beginners or kids, and do recommend it.

This is wonderful embroidery kit for beginners like myself. The kit comes with three different cute patterns. Within each set are the embroidery cloth with the pre-printed design, needles, thread, and instructions. The overall kit includes one embroidery hoop, scissors, and a needle threader. The instructions are detailed to include pictures and cover the types of stitches you will need to complete each set. The provided thread for each set is numbered to correspond to the instructions. Overall, I found this kit very easy to use.

Embroidery is my night time ritual. It helps me wind down and relax. I embroider every night, so as you can imagine, I do a lot of these kits. This set is just right for both beginners and those who just want to work on a cute design for relaxation. The stitches required are simple and it does have some simple overlap stitches to add a bit of dimension. The overlaps are very simple though and completely in the range of beginner stitches. The quality of the material is good. It's a medium weight. You will get some fraying at the edges. This will happen no matter what you pay for your kit. I've had kits that cost over $100 and you will still get fraying. If you want to prevent the edge fray you can trim the edges with a pinking shear, you can hem the edge or you can do a zig zag or similar stitch on the edge. Personally, I just do these for fun and then they go into my box of "these will probably never be seen again until my kids have to go through my stuff after I'm dead" box :). The pattern is well printed and easy to see. The floss provided is a decent quality with no issues like knotting or fraying. There is more than enough floss provided to complete the patterns. I usually use a smaller needle than the ones provided in these kits but the ones you get are completely serviceable and easy to thread.As others have stated, there is only one hoop provided. Most people don't leave the hoop on after they have completed the design anyway, but if you planned on keeping them in their hoops, do be aware that the kit only includes one. I took a couple of pics of the first one I started on. It is still a work in progress but I thought you might like to see how it looks so far.

These pictures on this embroidery is adorable. You get everything you need to complete all of the samplers with plenty of thread left over. You get one hoop, the reprinted material, thread, needles and instructions. The instructions are simple and easy to understand. I just wish there was one hoop per image so could hang them on the wall when finished.
