Very good - works very well in my Breville coffee machine. Much cheaper than the Breville descaler.

bought for my electric kettle after reading the usual practice of vinegar is not good for the kettle.Added 5 ml solution and in 30 mins almost fully cleaned. Finished off with scrub on soft (non stick) scourer. Cleaned better than ever before. Great value, great product.

280g/9.87oz. coffee machine descaler in a plastic, foil sealed, screw top bottle.Information and instructions are printed on the label. This is food safe 100% citric acid powdered crystals, which is probably the best and most effective method to descale small electrical appliances, such as coffee machines. It is citric acid that gives lemons their sharp sour taste, yet it dissolves calcium based water scale quicker and better than white vinegar, all without leaving an after taste or smell, once rinsed away.20g/0.6-0.7oz., is the recommended dose per litre of water.Adjust dosage per machine being descaled, also allow for the differences between imperial and US measurements.I live in a very hard water area and regularly use citric acid to great effect, especially when the coffee machine requires a descale programme to be performed. At my present rate of usage, this bottle shall last me more than the implied 2 years.Keep the contents dry at all times and always use the recommended rinse cycles of the coffee machine after descaling.Using a scale of 1 to 10, I would say that this is off the scale!

I have had my Nespresso machine for many years now and every once in a while, I will run a vinegar rinse through my machine. Apparently, this is not not good for the internal components but I feel like it's been too long since my last cleaning. Enter this descaler. I like that this is from natural ingredients and it is in concentrated form, which means less packaging is wasted on the product. I have never done this before and the instructions on the bottle were somewhat helpful - plus someone kindly wrote out some instructions that were pretty clear so I followed those. I was able to finish the initial pass through of the citric acid and I then ran 4 full tanks of water (instructions call for 3, but I went for 1 more to be safe) through the machine before I put everything back together. Things seem to be doing better taste wise since this cleaning. Glad to have a better cleaning option in my kitchen.

I really like the fact that this is a concentrate and so I only need this one small bottle in my cabinet to descale my Keurig for the year instead of a bunch of bottles that you need to use the entire bottle of for each use. It worked just as well as other products I've used and better than vinegar (plus doesn't require 10 flushes to get rid of the taste/smell!). Considering how many uses are in this bottle, it's extremely cost efficient.

I run this through my machine every once in awhile. I have really hard water so it's nice to keep the machine in tip top shape. This seems to do the job nicely.

This descaler works just as intended. There was a ton of gunk that came out of my keurig - gross! I made sure to wash my keurig with DI water afterwards. This has been great to use every few months. The instructions on the back are pretty clear.

I was very pleased with the performance of the descaler from Miles Kay.The directions on the back of the bottle are divided just based on the text changing lines in an odd place which seems confusing. This is their directions without the odd line placement along with a bit more detailPrior to starting…..look up online based on your model or test your coffee maker to determine how to stop the coffee making process midway. Also find out or check to see if your machine has an internal water filter.Step 1. If descaling a small coffee maker that only makes a single or a couple cups of coffee, mix 1 Tablespoon of granules with 2 Cups of warm water - or if you don’t have anything to measure cups - a 15.9 oz bottled water is very close. ( the exact number is 16.9 fluid ounces to equate to 500 ml or 2 Cups ) mix until crystals are dissolved.***** OR *****To descale a 6 cup or larger coffee maker use 1 1/2 Tablespoons to 4 Cups warm water ( 1000 ml or 32 ounces or Qty of 2 -15.9 oz bottles of water ) and mix until crystals are dissolved.Step 2. Empty any existing water from the coffee maker /coffee grounds/ and any filtersStep 3 …with a large cup to catch the liquid as it exits - add the descale liquid to the water tank or dispensing areaStep 4 ….start the coffee making process by selecting the largest cup or batch from the coffee maker options.Step 5…allow to run through the process for several seconds for the small machine or slightly longer for a multi cup machine, then StopOn my Keurig, I just lift the lid that holds the pod and the machine stops the process.Step 6…. Let the descale liquid sit in the machine for approx 30 minutes.Step 7…..Restart the coffee maker and allow the remaining descaling liquid to exit the coffee maker.Step 8…..They recommend to dispose of this liquid and make another batch if needed. At the same concentration.Step 9…..Run a second batch of cleaner if desired using the same process.Steps 10/11/12….Run 3 batches of clean clear water through the machine before using it to make coffee.Step 13……Install a new filter or put the old filter back into the coffee maker. My rating based on the directions being a bit difficult to understand (as written on the jar) is 4 StarsI hope my thoughts help someone.

The Coffee Machine Descaler is a citric acid-based solution that effectively cleans and descales coffee machines of all kinds. While it performs well, the price is a major drawback. At around four times the cost of comparable citric acid products, it's difficult to justify the expense for what is essentially a common descaling ingredient. If you're looking for effectiveness without overspending, there are more affordable alternatives available that offer similar results.

As pictured! This is a granular solid that you dissolve in water. The bottle claims 14 uses at 1 liter each. So if your descale feature takes more than a liter of water that might change the usage for your machine. I have a delonghi espresso machine and I only had to use the Tbsp recommended to make the solution! So for 9.99 that is great deal for descaling!Would recommend!

I live in a very hard water area so I have to descale several items every month. This descaler worked well and was simple to use. The directions are clear and easy to follow. The packaging takes up less room than a lot of other descalers. The powdered format is handy for adjusting the amount used.

I recently purchased the Mega Pack Descaler to clean my new bean-to-cup coffee machine, and I'm so glad I did. It was incredibly easy to use, and it left my machine sparkling clean. The descaler is also biodegradable and phosphate-free, which is a great bonus.I've also used it to clean my kettle and showerhead, and it's been equally effective. This descaler is a must-have for anyone who wants to keep their appliances clean and functioning properly. Highly recommend!
