Tja ganz schön es war schnell geliefert aber nur nicht ganz das ich wollte denn ich bekamm ein Bokken Katana und kein Tanto als genau das Gegennteil, also das eine ist ein Schwert das andere ein Messer nun gut vielleicht ist im Lager etwas schief gegangen keine Ahnung.

Perfect for my two and a half year old son, he is hard on toys, especially toy weapons. I can say without a doubt he is going to have this until he is ready for real sparring.

同社製の長さが同じでプレーンな形状の物と比較すると、グリップ自体は細身な印象。柄巻きを模した凹凸が非常に深い為、余程の事がなければすっぽ抜けないと思われます。48cmモデルは短い為、「しなり」は殆ど感じられず硬質感があります。

Excellent material (heavy solid plastic with molded handle), and I love the o-bokken in this series (Cold Steel 92BKKD), but this is really long for a tanto. Too long for use in knife-defense practice, in my opinion. This and the wakizashi (Cold Steel 92BKKB) are both about machete-length, this is just shorter than the wakizashi.

Looks and feels great! Only (very minor) complaint is that the tsuba (hand guard) has this design that runs on your hand it you weird it too high.

Bought it for a friend's mom who needed it for Tai Chi. I'm not sure what the specifics are for that, but when I held it, it had a nice weight to it, almost like wood. I would not suggest using it for sparring since it was quite heavy and actually a little sharp at the tip (for a practice weapon).Supposedly indestructible, I bashed it on a desk a few times, no dents or marks on it at all.
