2019 Baystar motorhome on a Ford F53 chassis. Like the title says my chassis battery wasn't charging when plugged into shore power. The contacts inside were corroded/burnt and not making the connection. If you suspect your solenoid is bad, check you have 12V on the small terminal at the bottom of the relay. If you do, the voltage between the large posts should be the same. If they are not, the relay is bad. If you do not have 12V coming into the relay on the small terminal, you've got another problem.

I use this relay to charge my auxiliary battery. I previously used a “Stinger” brand, it worked good. But I got this at a good price. Time will tell how it lasts. Cheers, John

This works well but before you buy it check the price of the metal unit rated for the same amps. The bakealite seems cheep
