Fix our furnace. Our furnace was buzzing. I figured it was the exhaust fan booster.

Only tool needed for repair was a quarter inch drive 5/16" deep socket with an extension rod and spinner handle(screwdriver). There are excellent on line, how-to videos available, watch one first. I was going to wait till morning to replace a badly working fan assembly, but mine totally died at midnight during the blizzard. I was so relieved that the job went so well; I was done in 30 minutes. Th new fan is so much quieter, I don't even here the furnace start until the main blower fan kicks on. The price from this vendor was less than 1/2 the price of most of the competition.

Exact fit. Just a quick tip for those that are installing. The two blade connectors are oem however the jacket is the same size as the one's you connect to the heater, which makes them impossible to connect. THE FIX: Rather than cutting the wires and splicing them, do what I did. Just take a needle nose pliers and stretch out the outer jacket casing (The wires on your new part) and you'll have plenty of room to slide the connectors together. it will takes all of 30 seconds to do, no cutting, no splicing. Time it took for removal of old part and install replacement was 30 min max, if that. I am 100% satisfied with my purchase and install.

My old one failed while unused over the summer, my diagnostics all pointed to the motor windings...This was the best priced option available. My furnace now runs a bit quieter now that the old (original? 25 years?) Has been replaced. On my furnace this required the feed end to the combustion chamber be removed to allow the old blower to be pulled down, then the outside air intake duct be removed, before the old blower could be removed from the furnace. There were several screws in very tight spots.⚠️ Due to having the combustion chamber being opened to facilitate the replacement, extreme caution ⚠️ should be exercised as this could cause a co leak, and testing meters and co alarms should be implemented to ensure that everything has been properly sealed up again after the repair. ⚠️I have multiple co alarms that have smart notification capabilities, and made sure to check the records for any signs of trouble over the next couple weeks.

After trying my furnace this fall, it would buzz at startup and then shut down with a flashing code indicating the pressure switch was stuck closed. After a bit of troubleshooting, I found the original vent fan to be completely locked up. Found this one and ordered it. Fit was identical and everything went together with no issues.I wish I could say it was easy to install, but it takes a bit of disassembly to do so. That is not the fault of the part, though. One thing that struck me right off the bat is that when it runs, it is so silent! The original never was that quiet in the entire time we have owned our home. (4 years)More than anything, I am quite pleased with this fan. Fit was perfect. Performance is excellent. It is just a bugger to install. But once it’s in there, well, my furnace has never worked as well as it does now. That alone is easily worth the five stars!

it works , yes we got heat . thank you . i did it my self , first timer . the part worked and fit very well , the problem was , line up the screw holes , to the burner unit , the snail looking thing , that was a pain in the romp roast . after about 3 hours of getting no were , i took most of the screws off from the top of the heater , had my wife push the long pipe , don't know the name of it , anyway , she pushed it in place , while i pushed the top of the heater up as far as i could , that worked , the snail looking things , the burner , was lined up , screws in when we done it , what ever works . i used metal tape around the burner , and pipes , just for precaution , didn't want any leaks . so far so good .

Four stars because It was just installed and I have no Idea if it will last. THE FOLLOWING INFO IS FOR HVAC PROFESSIONALS ONLY AND NOT FOR ANYONE ELSE!This product is fairly easy to install. It was done in around an hour by someone who took it's time to make things go smoothly. First off the unit is installed by removing the burner valve assembly on the LOWER side of the furnace. The assembly pulls straight out without removing any wires or gas supply on the furnace my professional worked on as I observed. Then the snail looking duct is removed after and the individual doing the work made sure not to harm any gaskets when removing either assembly. The snail looking thingy was set aside and the bad vent motor assembly was slid downward until it disconnected the upper duct that is attached to it. Then my pro pulled the upper duct towards the front and away from the furnace to make room to squiggle the vent assembly out of the furnace. The new part was put in reverse order taking time to adjustthe shape of the new part to fit the original hole. My pro mentioned that duct parts like this are not always completely round and may need to be compressed in areas to make the slightly oval tube round. The pro slid the new part in place, then reinstalled the snail thingy. The valve assembly was put back in and all the sheet metal screws were tightened. The only issue the pro had was the new part wire connections had to be changed out to fit the furnace wires.Other than changing the wire connections the whole job was done by this screwdriver: IRWIN Tools 9-in-1 Multi-Tool Screwdriver (2051100) found here on Amazon. The pro said any similar tool will work as long as it has a 5/16" nut driver or socket thingy.I am sure glad that I have a cousin that knows a guy who has a pal that is a HVAC pro who could come over to install this for me.
