So far my use of theses 40 va transformers are working for me. Seem to be well made and reasonably priced

works great and quick replacement. The only thing that is different is the COM terminal on the primary side which is a 1/4 inch terminal instead of the smaller one on the original Carrier transformer. Its a easy fix to change to a 1/4 inch female terminal on the COM wire.

I purchased this transformer after I accidently burned out my transformer hooking up the blue wire from Honeywell thermostat. The blue is not to be used with my model. I ordered this as it was much less expensive (about half) than most of the other ones I found searching for brand name. Installed this and system is back up and running normally. Very pleased with purchase.
