I like how strong the latches are and it’s pretty sturdy. However one of the legs split while in was putting it on. It’s pretty cheaply made but compared to the other options, you get what you pay for. The kids love it. The chalk board is neat but chalk markers don’t come off easily and idk if I can use a magic eraser on it without tearing it up.

I was looking for one of these for my one year old. He loves to be in the kitchen with us and is very active and developed when it comes to gross motor. He’s been walking since 9 months. I felt like he was ready and he certainly was!He loves climbing his tower and watching us cook or do dishes. He also likes climbing up to play with magnets on the fridge. He likes that he has extra hand holds (the bear shaped cutouts) and even uses the bar to pull up on. He sometimes sits on the steps as well.We have not used it as a desk or table yet but it will be great for that.Putting it together was pretty simple but you do have to pay close attention to the photos. Making mistakes is not a big deal though. Easily corrected. I was worried the latches were misaligned or too tight but opening and closing them a few times worked out the kinks and they work perfectly now.A magnetic chalk board would have been a nicer touch.Anyway, very happy. Very sturdy, feels safe.

I got this for my son (aged 2) so he can safely learn to cook and prepare meals.This stool is very sturdy and the blackboard is a great touch, I decorated it for Christmas and plan to do so for holidays as well as let the little one use his imagination.However, assembling it was very difficult. You have to drill the areas where the wood pieces and fasteners connect to, and the instructions are not very clear about which way they go. I recommend a tool kit for assembly.The stool also has little feet stabilizers so it won’t topple over, it’s a well thought out design.

This stool is attractive and will be used a ton for a little helper in the kitchen.It was pretty easy to assemble, my only complaint is that the latches that hold the two halves together did not line up perfectly and needed to be removed and slightly adjusted. Easy enough with a small screwdriver.Our toddler was able to climb it safely, and has had a blast with it so far. We also love the chalkboard and desk function for coloring.

It seems fairly sturdy, very straightforward to put together, and my kiddo loves helping in the kitchen with it. Some of the pieces arrived damaged, though, delaminating around the edges. When I clip the sides it groans concerningly, too. We'll continue to cautiously use it, but I'm not sure how long I'll be comfortable letting him climb on it.Edit to add: The seller was very responsive and willing to make it right, so changing my rating to 5 stars for the great customer service and a company that's willing to stand by their product.

Bought this as a Christmas gift for our almost two year old and he loves it!Reaches the counter, allows him to help baking, mixing, putting things away.He enjoys using the table to eat his meals at as well as sitting to color on the chalkboard.Great cheaper alternative to others and still sturdy and versatile.Easily put together in less than 30 minutes and no extra tools needed.
