No matter how tight I would make it, my dog would get out of it. I only bought it because she HATES her paws being touched and she will snip at whomever is trying to cut her nails. She has never bitten anyone but I wanted to make sure eeryone felt safe. Its just too big. I measured her and everything. I just dont see this as a good solution. If you are trying to decide what to get and you want your dog to be comfortable/can breath look for one thats more of a metal cage style. They are more expensive but I think worth it over this.

Sehr gute Qualität, sehr gute Verarbeitung. Erst etwas irritierend mit den ganzen Verschlüssen aber dadurch auch sehr gut individuell einstellbar. Ich muss noch die perfekte Passform finden, aber sehe keinerlei Problem dabei. Ich gebe da gern eine Kaufempfehlung. Preis-Leistung stimmt und es wurde sehr schnell geliefert.

Worked for a few months til my belgain Malinois figured out how to chew it off. It fits a little bug on the top of the head! The collar loop is a game changer!!!

There are too many belt buckles on this for it to work properly. I undid ONE then it fell apart. There are at least 5 of these belt buckles on this muzzle and only one serves a purpose. It's over complicated and poor in terms of workmanship. It's $22 for a reason!

I'm a former military dog handler and trainer. I've used muzzles many times for military working dogs and know a quality muzzle when I see and use one. This is a quality muzzle in design, strength, and leather. Once you make the adjustments for a proper fit, it is very effective. Make sure it is snug all around and when you grab the nose of the muzzle, with the muzzle on the dog, you should be able to tug on it without pulling the muzzle off the dogs head.. Don't be afraid to lift the dogs front feet off the ground temporarily testing the proper fit and tightness.

I got this muzzle for my Belgian shepherd/Malinois who is blind in one eye ( BTW he has worn muzzles before and doesn't mind them at ALL ). Since he has a disability and because of his breed, he is sensitive to various things. We've tried different muzzles before but I'd say this is the best one yet, quality-wise! He has enough room to pant and it is actually quite soft and has a firm squish to it. We only wish there was a little bit of inner padding across the nose bridge. Other than that it's the highest quality muzzle we've received in our 6 years of muzzle training!extra note: I suggest buying extra belt holders because the straps are long.

So 1st and foremost, I bought muzzles for my Malinois as a proactive step to problems with offleash dogs while walking, biking or training my dogs off my own property. Malinois are high drive dogs and I didn't want to risk the chance of injury to them or other dogs.The muzzle seems well made, it did seems confusing trying to put it on but i looked at the pictures of the muzzle on amazon for help. I had already been conditioning my dogs to accept muzzles by hand feeding them treats or their food through the leash loop. When I got the muzzle I just dropped treats into the muzzle to get them to stick their nose in vs forcing it on them. Found that trick on youtube.Taking care of the leather muzzle shouldn't be hard. Do not use peroxide as that eats away at leather. Wipe it with a wet rag and use non toxic oils to oil it. Boot leather conditioners will.be toxic to dogs, so you can use coconut oil, linseed oil, mink oil etc. Do not use excessive amounts, just enough to keep it in good condition. Wipe down with every use if its wet or dirty.Muzzles arent meant to be a fix all to destructive behavior. You need to redirect that energry towards treat filled kongs, exercise, training etc. My dogs are high energry so biking, treadmills, tire pulling, tug or war are all essential to their daily routines. And i have cats that my boy Thrasher wants to chase, the muzzle will help, but he often has his bungee tug toy he redirects his frustration about the cat to. If your dog is destroying your muzzle, you should consider using treats to condition them to it or less time with muzzle on and more actitives to get that energry out.

Each dog is different. The muzzle fits the snout perfectly, but no room in the basket for the mouth to open. A larger size would slip off, and smaller wouldn't fit. Complicated to put on (takes too long). Leather is nice. Outside is colored, inside is rough leather. It is softer, but will ruin quickly with water or saliva. It serves the purpose for an emergency.

Our GS was a well behaved guy at the vet till 3 years ago. Maybe a tech & fecal or blood sample but he’s been a handful ever since. For piece of mind and a thanks to the vet / staff I got this. He wasn’t happy about it but was Hannibal Lecture please with his face mask?It was a total success! Lots of practice putting it on him with lots of treats starting 6 months after his last vet appointment. Everyone was afraid and dogs sense it. He’s 120lbs. So he could do serious damage. He’s never bitten anyone and I wanted to keep it that way.As a responsibility and respect for these poor sweet young techs devoted to a life of helping animals I had to get this for our big boy.It works on so many levels. He couldn’t bite them, they felt calmer about approaching him and everyone thanked us for purchasing such a great product.Piece of mind is priceless! If you’re pup might bite someone please, get this muzzle. The plus side is … your dog will totally look like a bad ass wearing it.
