This bedspread is lightweight and I love the retro design. It fits my king-size, thick mattress perfectly. I haven't washed it yet so I don't know how it holds up after washing. I like to feel cool when I sleep so I will use it year round. The price was reasonable and it seems to be of good quality.

This IS your Grandmother's bedspread. I had one for 40 years, til it finally fell apart. Then I went on the hunt for another one. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Not lightweight, medium to heavy weight. Washed up beautiful, no holes, the backing fabric is sturdy and not see through. Worth every single penny!

I gave it three stars for light weight because I think it's more of a medium weight (which is what I wanted). My mom saw mine and wanted me to order one for her too. The color is beautiful. Highly recommend.

I love it. 118×118 will cover a king adjustable bed frame. But I ordered the shams too. Thinking I would receive 2 king shams. They are standard shams. So I will big the bullet and buy 1 more sham and 3 standard pillows. I love it that much. Very well made. I know it will shed for at least 2 washes. But I don't care, it takes me back to Grandma's house.
