I’ve purchased Roxanne needles before and really liked them, so these were doubly disappointing. As a long-time hand quilter, I know how important needle quality is. I tried several from the pack, and all were hard to push through the quilt sandwich, and the eye end kept digging bits of silver out of my silver thimble. I happen to have a low-power microscope, so I compared the Roxanne needles with my John James needles (same type and size). The Roxanne’s eye ends are ragged and sharp, instead of being machined smooth. The point ends show heavy scratches and uneven machining with an abrupt transition to the shaft. Each one I checked had the same problems. Totally unusable—these should never have made it out of the factory. The JJ needles are very smooth all over, with an even and gradual transition to the shaft.

I love quilting with these needles! The size 10 is perfect imho, because the needle is slender, but sturdy, and the eye is large enough to thread without difficulty. I also appreciate the cute container with 50 needles inside!

I love these quilting needles. Perfect size and the eye is large enough to thread. Took me 20 minutes the first time I tried. Now that I’m used to them, takes me 1 min to thread. They don’t bend, easy to quilt with.

I bought these needles for quilting, and love them. I belong to a group that quilts together once a week and when everyone tried them, they all wanted some. I ordered more and they are sharing. The only problem is that after quite a lot of use they bend, but nearly every kind I've tried does that, and with 50 needles in the pack, I can afford to bend one occasionally.

Excellent for sewing especially if you want to sew small stitches. It makes a real difference to be able to have so many of exactly what is favored. I got tired of buying needles and having every size but the size I really wanted. At the local shop I could not get such a collection of one size. It is so convient to shop at Amazon. I live in the country and it is a bit of a ride to get a larger selection of an item. Thank you Amazon.I was able to use a lot of the variety collection by making Pins and Needles Books for friends for Christmas.

I love to sew and hand piece quilts and this package of needles is just i what I needed. The little vial they come in is nice for holding the ones that I don't have stuck in my pin cushion at the time, and the needles always stay sharp and shiny. The size is perfect for my needs and as there are so many needles, I can thread ten or so when I start piecing to save the stopping to re-thread. Always sharp and ready to go and of high quality. Highly recommend for the constant sewer.

Service was great. Received on time. Have to rave about the quality of this product. Have have been seqing for over 60 years and was unaware of this product. Read a review on a quilting site so decided to try. Wow! So sharp and smooth and the large eye is truly appreciated. Can't believe there can be such a difference in needles.

I love the little container that these needles come in. I have bought plenty of needles that are not packaged well. These are a perfect size for hand quilting. They are a little difficult to thread (the eye being so small), but with strong reading glasses, that problem has been solved. This item has added greatly to my enjoyment of hand quilting.
