Looks nicer in the photo than it does in person. The tripod doesn’t actually fold. It is just made to look as though it does with faux bolts. I think it might also be plastic, not metal. The globe did not spin very well and the item is very lightweight so the whole piece moves when you try to spin it. I like the overall aesthetic and it might make a good piece of decor if you’re not planning to actually try and use it. Overall though it seems overpriced for the quality. I ended up returning it.
