I used a different size of these 50 years ago in a Color Theory Class in college. Now taking an adult Ed class needed them again for the assignments. More expensive than raiding the paint chip selection at Home Depot (teacher suggestion) but much easier use. A real classic !!

I only bought this because my class requires me to. It has scratches, some of the papers aren’t labeled, and it has a weird powdery residue. It does the job that I need it to, but it’s way overpriced for the quality.

This was a required item for a color theory class I had to take, and I nearly lost my mind trying to work with this mess of disconnected paper. The color family is labeled on the back of the squares, but once you start cutting pieces to use, you can't easily find your way back to the same color. Once you take these out of the box, you just have a pile of 314 little squares of color with no easy way to order or organize them without turning them over again and again and again. I was a graphic designer for years, used to working with Pantone chip books, organized by color families and easy to pull chips and still know what you are working with. This company should go find an old Pantone book and see how it's done. I would have paid more for something with a spiral binding with perforated samples. It would have been SO much better than this scrap heap. What a waste of money.

I was expecting something more like I used in the '80s. These have pastels and I don't know why, nor how to mix that color. The old ones had hues, tints, and shades. Simpler.Box was ripped and cards were out of the box. Disappointing to receive something I will treasure in that way.
