Everything about these couplers looks/feels nice. They connect and disconnect easily as expected. Only problem is if I wiggle around the tool or if it just sits at the wrong angle, it leaks a lot. For a matching set of fittings, I didn't expect that.

I see some bad reviews about leaks, off colors and bad fitment. I bought a set of these many years ago from who knows where, in a store (That long ago ;-) and they were awesome. Just bought a new reel and wanted to change the remaining brass fittings and make sure the new reel looked as snazzy as my tools. The color was identical, except for my over used tools, fitment was just as perfect as the first batch a few years ago, even when I wiggle the fitting left, right or rotate. Which in reality shouldn't move back and forth, and if it does, there's definitely a problem!! And if it leaks from the NPT side... then u don't have enough Teflon.As for scratching... its anodized aluminum, its tougher than paint and powder coat but you gotta realize that even brass fittings scratch, only its brass underneath and not noticed as much. I like the used anodized look on my tools... my muscle car has fancy anodized fittings that are not scratched. They are also not in a position to get scratched. But my tools get used, therefor get scratched.I would buy these again in a heart beat, but I now have more fittings than tools. AND I have never had one break.

The reason i didnt give 5 stars has nothing to do with the quality of the product which is great. The problem i had was getting one female and three male threaded couplers. I still had to go to the hardware store to buy another female to use my new air compresser.But thats partly my fault for not looking at the product discription better .

Works as expected. No leaks when connected. Threads on as expected. coupler slides easily and connect quickly.

While not perfect they work although I would recommend adding air tape to all the fittings. They are cheap and functional. Would recommend for any light duty application.
