This is so pretty and the fabric is so soft.. it's definitely handmade..it's a pretty color...this is so nice for the reptile to be on a soft hammock material..it's not useful for shedding..the reptiles need something rough in their living space to rub on to help them shed...but this is so lovely and soft that helps them to sleep..It can be thrown in the wash after spot cleaning if it gets dirty.. I definitely recommend this .. it's easy to set up and simple to move around to different parts of the space.. it's not a large item..but it is just right..a large Beardie it's tail might be slightly over the edge but it will support a smaller reptile fully...we gave this to our snake to try out and she curled up in a circle and just went right to sleep ..she's loving it ..I don't think it's going to be removed and given back to the beardie..she loves it..I don't recommend this for rodents unless you want it to be shredded in a few days...they love to chew..so nice I would like to have two or three more..

This rope hammock is made of very soft rope in nice pastel colors. One of my rats ignores it entirely but the other one will sit on it sometimes.The only downside is that it is a bit small for male rats - it is the size it lists (it says 7" in one spot and 8" in another, basically it's 8" if you stretch the sides out and 7" if you don't), it's just that that size isn't quite big enough for larger rats. I'm not sure if the fact that they don't use it much is more because of the rope construction or the small size, but they definitely don't use it as much as their larger fabric hammocks. For smaller female rats or other smaller rodents like hamsters it might be the perfect size.
