Your cart is empty.Art Spectrum''''s Colourfix Pastel Paper- Fresh Grey...The response to this pastel paper has been phenomenal. Colourfix has a beautifully textured sanded surface. The Colourfix surface is extremely receptive to all pastels and holds layers and layers of color. Sheets are 20 x 28 and are available in 16 fantastic colors. Colourfix papers are sheets of 140lb acid free hot press paper that has been screen printed with Colourfix primer. The primer is acrylic based; so Colourfix can be used with watercolor acrylic and oil washes before you apply your pastel. It is also excellent for charcoal and pastels.Colourfix Fresh Grey is a light green grey.

It is indeed sanded. Fairly rough, but not so rough that it eats your pastels alive. I was commissioned to paint a portrait and, on this size, (9x12) I should've selected a finer grain for finer detail and more subtle gradations, but it all worked out just fine. Client was happy, I was happy, everybody was happy. In the future, I would like to see the grain number on the sheets.
