This shirt is a very nice medium weight shirt. It has the feel of a sun shirt but a little more density which is nice. It feels nice against the skin, too.The color is very vibrant and vivid which makes it easy to locate my kiddo while wearing this shirt.This does run a bit large in the length of the sleeves. The body seemed ok length wise but the sleeves hang pretty far over the hands. The sleeves do stay rolled up which keeps them out of the way when needed.

Lightweight fabric, my son thinks it's comfortable. The hood covers his ears and fits over a ball cap to help protect his ears and neck from sunburn. The koi color is like a bright, pastel orange but still very visible and is quick and easy to spot outdoors which is why I chose this color. The sleeves also have thumb holes. I find the sizing true to Columbia, make sure you check the chart because they run large. My 5 year old would typically wear a size 6 which is a small in most brands, but it's an x-small with Columbia.

Very thin and almost see through. This is not the quality I’d expect from a Columbia. Stated to offer UPF 50 sun protection but is so transparent that I can see light shining through when holding it up. Somewhat similar to swim material but not as sturdy or thick. Material keeps cool. Would t personally order again.

I am a huge fan of the Columbia brand. I know they make quality clothing and products. I jumped on this hoodie immediately. I got this for my youngest son. This hoodie is lightweight, but offers really nice insulation even if it's thinner than your normal hoodie. The hoodie is very comfortable to wear. It goes easily over the clothing underneath. It is stretchy and flexible. The color is really nice. It doesn't look dull or anything. This hoodie is an easy outer piece of clothing for any child.

This is a review of "Columbia Kids' Chill River Hoodie (Medium, Mountain Blue)"My family generally loves the Columbia brand -- affordable but very high quality. Overall this hoodie provides a good sunscreen protection and fits to size, just know that it's very thin (and all artificial fibers of course). Great for athletic activities where you want to wick away the perspiration. Recommended!

Love this hoodie. Its thin, but it's very stretchy. It also had thumbholes. Love the color. Perfect for summer time. Its soft and comfortable. Its also made of high quality material. Perfect fit for my 8 year old.
