These are the best winter boots!! Living in Boston, the winter can be bitter cold and you'll encounter a variety of weather elements. These boots are perfect! They'll keep your feet very warm (you don't even need thermal socks), they're water proof, and extremely comfortable! If you wear orthotics they will fit well in these. You can also remove the sole if you need extra wiggle room. Highly recommend!!

I haven't worn the boots out in the cold and/or snow yet, as I bought them for my treks to Virginia and D.C. in cold weather, so they may have to wait until next winter for FULL use. Our REALLY cold days are, probably, over for now here in South Texas (YES, it gets COLD...in the 20s!!), so these will be kept as my cold weather traveling shoes. Trying them on and wearing them around the house, for now...they felt great!! Very easy to slip on, soft and comfy...no pinching.I, ordinarily, wear 7 & 7-1/2 (up from 6-1/2 & 7, from years past) in sandals and closed-toe shoes, and 8 or 8-Wide, in boots. I've begun getting boots in 8-1/2 (8-1/2 WIDE, if possible) to give my feet room because of bunions. I wanted these in 8-1/2 WIDE in the BLUE color, but they weren't available, so I took a chance on the 8-1/2 REGULAR. There is enough length in the shoe, and 'give' in the width to make them comfortable. With thin socks, there is, about, 3/4" to 1" of room in the toe, but I plan on wearing THICK socks with them, which will fill the gap nicely.I'm awaiting a pair in BLACK that are 8-1/2 WIDE so I'll be able to tell if there is much difference in the sizing and comfort level.Beautiful boot, comfy, and very nice-looking, as well. They seem well-made, but time will tell. I agree with others who've said that the COLUMBIA brand is a good brand. I have several pairs of their hiking boots, and they've all held up well.

These boots are awesome! I can't say enough good things about them and I've told everyone. They were delivered the day before we had a huge snow storm, I wore them to work for 12 hours right out of the box and never had a bit of problems with anything. They are very warm, my feet stay dry and I love the way they look. Thanks Columbia!

Son unas botas estupendas, tanto para nieve como lluvia. Me han encantado. Son muy calentitos y tostadas antideslizante. Las compré para un viaje a Chequia y es la mejor compra que he hecho jamás. La he utilizado en todos los viajes a países Nórdicos y en tiempo de nieve y lluvia y no se mojan los pies

Model: Columbia Women's Minx Shorty Iii Snow Boot. - Size: 8.5 - WIDE width.It’s a padded fabric ankle boot with laces and faux fur around the ankles which make it very cute design!COMFORT and WEIGHT: Regarding the comfort, they are very comfortable snow boots like slippers and very light too. The padded fabric is ideal for my case as I’ve got wide skinny feet and the padding fabric doesn’t hurt my bones but is rather friendly on my skin.LACES: I have chosen a model with laces due to my feet to adjust it as I wish. Wide skinny feet but very slim ankles so I was able to tighten the laces around my ankles to my convenience.INSOLES: Medium thickness and comfortable like velvet.SIZING: On the other hand, the sizing is tricky: I have struggled to find the right size. Finally, I have ended up with 8.5 UK size, option: wide fit which fits me perfectly without socks. Otherwise, my current size has always been 6,5 UK size - wide (European size: 40 – Wide).But when it comes to buy winter ankle boots/shoes I came to the conclusion that I do have to increase the size due to the internal padding/fur and brand. Just FYI: The 7.5 wide was too small and size 8 wide could fit me but the width was slightly tight around my left foot while it was fine for the right foot.Cons: I would have preferred a thicker external sole. I just don’t like flat boots.Grip: It’s not snowing so I couldn’t test it yet. Otherwise, the sole is made of rubber.I hope that my feedback will help other women who have been struggling to find wide fit snow/ankle boots.I hope that Amazon Prime will offer further wide fit design like the latest Columbia models.

I have a total of 5 pairs of Columbia boots at this point and I just started purchasing them in the Winter of 22. That’s how much I love them,both long and short! After buying my first pair and falling in love I gave my usual brand a break because their quality changed,glad I’m here now!! This particular boot I’ve been stalking,but was waiting for the price to go down and IT DID!!!!!! I had to tell myself to not buy two pair 😂!! I wear a 9 so I buy a 9 and honestly it breaks in after about 2 wears so I never size up(I have fat feet). I’m happy and comfortable!!!!!! Columbia keep my feet warm,dry and looking cute!! Let’s not forget with both long and short ones you can be very stylish! I’m in Chicago and we have some rough Winters some years and your feet being warm and dry are very important!! Also,good traction. I pair mine with either my pea coat or Columbia coat or sometimes just my hoodie . 😊 🫶🏽

Las botas están muy bonitas y son cómodas. Considero que me quedaron justas y cumplieron su función. Son impermeables, a prueba de agua/nieve y te mantienen calientita. Las usé una semana en la nieve y fueron una gran opción.

I have a problem finding footwear that I like. I inherited my father's wide feet, so my choices are very limited. These boots not only come in wide width, but fit well. They are a tad bit long, so I could have probably gone a half-size smaller, but I am still able to wear them with no issues.They are comfortable, keep my feet warm in the cold, and are easy to walk in. These have probably got to be the best winter boots I have had in a long time.

I really like these boots. They're a bit pricey, but Columbia brand usually holds up well. For me something that's well made, comfortable, and will last is usually worth paying a little more. They're lightweight and warm. I was replacing my Sperry duck boots after several years of use and wanted something a little warmer bc my feet would freeze when I wore them in snow. I like that they are fabric, but still waterproof. Most winter boots are usually a hard rubber, rigid, and don't have much flexibility, not these. I love that they're so much lighter weight. I think they're comfy, but they don't have the arch support you get from say a running shoe. One thing that should be noted is that these are narrow. I would say I don't have particularly narrow or wide feet. I usually wear the, "normal" size, e.g., I don't usually order wide or narrow shoes. If I had to pick one though my feet are on the wider side vs the narrow side. I debated if I should order a wide, and decided to based on other reviews that said these were narrow. I'm glad I ordered a wide they definitely would have been uncomfortable if I hadn't. I didn't love that they charged so much more for the wide though, but overall I'm really happy with my boots. They're really cute too.

one purchase that made me happy the moment I opened the parcel. the fit was perfect , the look is perfect, and is worth the money you spend on it.only make sure that you buy a size bigger than you wear .
