I totally recommend this hat!!!! I purchased it to sit in the infield at KY Oaks (horse races the day before KY Derby) Louisville, KY. It did rain while I was there. The hat worked perfectly!! The rain was beeding on the hat which showed how excellent the quality is. I highly recommend this hat!!!!!

This is a super cute and very functional rain or sun hat. Spending time in Florida, I’ve had the opportunity to wear it for both reasons and it was great.The hat has some ruching on the front that gives it a bit of extra flair. The top is pleated all the way around which also gives it a nice fit and looks nice. The brim can be positioned down to keep the rain off your face or turned upward depending on your needs.The design features are very well thought out. The strap can be removed with some plastic clips. There is a drawstring underneath to tighten it up if needed. And there is a mesh liner inside that helps keep your head cool. The fabric is soft and comfortable, yet is somehow water repellent and holds its shape well.My head circumference is 21.73” so I ordered a large based off the chart. I have more than enough room and probably would have been plenty comfortable in a medium. That doesn’t matter, though, since I can use the drawstring inside to make it tighter if I felt I needed to. It’s nice to have it a little bigger, though, so it doesn’t crush my hair.

I love the color but I'm not sure about the fit. Overall, it's a well made hat.

My only gripe about this was the look of the chin strap. This went from an almost whimsical, fashionable hat to a crocodile dundee hat, which is awesome when I'm in the mood for it. But that WAS a gripe, until I discovered that the straps are detachable. They clip on with metal clips and the parts they clip on don't rub on my head or anything, so that's super awesome. Now I can go for a feminine look when I'm wanting one, and a hardcore croc hunter when I'm in the mood.The ruching around the band of this is what sets this apart from most sunhats. It makes it a lot more feminine. I'm not a hat person, but working summer craft fairs has given me some wrinkles, so now I am a hat person. But mostly this hat. I got the medium, because I didn't want it too tight. And it's comfortably loose on me, which I like. Stays in place, but doesn't cling. There's a mesh lining and the brim is manipulatable, so I can pull up the sides, or angle the front if I want. It feels very lightweight. The brim is wide enough that my neck is protected. It provides a lot of shade.I think that it's very well made as well. The stitching is perfect, the gathered fabric is securely attached, and it's just super nice looking and feeling. I think that the price is fair. It's a very high-quality sunhat with a lot of versatility when it comes to styling it. Add a pin or a flower or something to match an outfit. The beige color is muted and will match anything. I would buy this again in another color. It's a great hat.

Due to my fair skin and some melanoma surgery, I have started wearing hats more. I have some other ones I have bought that are just ok. I like the smaller brim and the style of the hat. I wore it on vacation in Oregon and it was great for the sun and for the rain. I felt it is a better "look" than my other, wider brimmed hats.

I bought this hat to go sight seeing in Greece. It rolled up in my bag so it was always handy. It always came out looking great! Love the fabric. Used it when it rained and when it was sunny. Used the strap on a very windy cliff. Recommend to anyone. I got lots of complements.

This hat arrived folded and opened with only a couple wrinkles. This gives me the confidence to fold it up for packing in my suitcase. The hat is well made and I think it will last many years. The color, I bought beige/tan, is true to the picture. It will go will any coats, sweaters or clothes on the brown spectrum .The styling raises the hat above the standard bucket hat and, coupled with the fabric quality, it looks more expensive than what you pay.The size is spot on with the sizing chart and it is easily adjustable to a snugger fit if preferred. The brim is ample size for sun and rain blocking and is the perfect stiffness to not block your sight.I am so happy with my beige hat, I ordered the navy hat today and expect to order the black and the pink next month.I highly recommend this hat.

This hat is stylish and functional. What's not to love about a hat that provides equal protection from sun and rain and looks great while doing so. It folds practically flat. The fabric isn't too thick and feels soft and comfortable against my skin. I didn't pay attention to the sizing information and ended up with a medium because I wanted the gray color and that selection defaulted to medium. The hat arrived and it was way too small for me. But it was so cute, I decided to keep it for my daughter and ordered another hat for me in black that came in a larger size. I love it!
