We installed the on the side of our RV to keep the wind from closing the door on us. It is easy to install. Being that it gets full afternoon sun I am not sure how long it will last without getting brittle and breaking but they are reasonably priced so if it only lasts a year or 2 that is fine. We also have them installed inside and they are great and have held up for 2 years so far.

Easy to install, simple to remove, this broom gripper is definitely value for money. It holds up to 1.8 kg, more than enough for most brooms and mops. I appreciate the fact that it does not require screws or nails, and that the 3M tape included is very strong, but should not take off half the wall if I decide to remove it.It includes clear, easy instructions. The directions say not to use commercial cleaners before applying, but rather to use rubbing alcohol (surgical spirit) instead.

Soddisfatto

I waited a few weeks to review this item to make sure that the 3 holders I bought remained affixed to the wall and I'm happy to say they have, even with repeated use.I bought these to use inside a narrow kitchen closet for a broom, a mop and a Swiffer. I 'alcoholed' the area before attaching (as instructed) and left up for 24 hours before inserting the broom and mops. I have repeated removed and reinserted the broom and mops and the holder maintains a firm grip and works exactly as I wanted, keeping the closet clean and tidy. What I particularly like is that the broom and mops can be inserted in either direction (up or down) and are held equally tightly. Great idea, great product.

These nifty little 3M Broom & Mop holders are terrific! I'm currently renting a house with VERY little storage space. The closets and cabinets are tiny. It's a 3 bedroom house but it only has 2 closets aside from the small ones in each of the bedrooms. I have dogs and a toddler so I'm always rushing around picking things up, tidying, and trying my best to both simplify and organize! I was having a hard time trying to figure out where I could stash my brooms and mop. It didn't seem sanitary to keep them on the pantry floor with our food stuffs and I didn't particularly want to keep them in our hall closet w/ all of our coats and linens either. I used to have a magnetized bar shaped holder that hung horizontally w/ multiple slots for brooms and mops but couldn't find another one anywhere. I was searching for something similar here on Amazon when I saw these and decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did! These work perfectly! I affixed 2 of these to the side of my fridge in one minute (literally), waited 30 minutes as indicated and was able to then immediately hang up my mop, metal broom and dustpan. I have the teensiest, most narrow space between my kitchen wall and fridge and these allowed me to utilize that space in the most helpful, clever way. I'm impressed with how ingenious these are. They hold brooms, mops, and such very securely and yet allow me to pop them out with ease. Buying 2 of these cost about 1/3-1/4 the price of multi-slot broom holders and those all had to be screwed into walls. I was able to use this on my fridge like the magnetized one I used to have. Love these! Highly recommended (and thrilled that we are no longer tripping over my broom and mop anymore!)

Generally I love command anything. I don't have to put holes in my walls, but am still able to hang products with ease. I got this product specifically for our camper, but I must admit I don't use it for a broom. Instead it holds a flashlight. It's great because it grips the flashlight perfectly and anyone who has to go potty, walk the dog, check that the fire is out, or any other reason one might venture out at night, they can just grab it from the wall. This saves me precious cabinet/counter space (which in an RV is limited) and also allows me to have a "place for everything" rather than just having a random junk drawer. My husband now wants me to buy a few more to go in our house too. It's great to know where the flashlight is in an emergency. We'll also probably get another one to actually hold the broom too! Thanks for this Command Strip People!

At first I thought it wasn't going to hold our broom. It was a little difficult to get it connected the first time it was used. We mounted this to the back of our pantry door. I am really happy that this broom is no longer on the floor of the pantry it was taking up so much space and always caused problems. I love that this is made with the command strips so I can attach it to the door without putting holes in the door. Happy with this purchase.

It is a seemingly simple thing to retain a broom on a wall and yet this is the only device that does it perfectly. I have tried every device known to man, from the balls that drop-to-pinch, rubber rolls that spring apart, gravity-falling hooks, descending scissors grabbers, I have tried them all, and none does it better than this. All other devices require some knack to get the broom in the holder that range from irritating to infuriating. This one does not. When removing the broom, there is a pleasing tendency for the broom to almost "pop out" of the holder. Conversely it is "drawn in" when putting the broom back. Operation is silent. The broom is retained some distance away from the wall so your knuckles don't hit the wall when putting back the broom. I didn't trust the sticky mounting material so drilling a couple of holes in the drill-friendly plastic (no tendency to crack) allowed for a secure screw-mount.
