I have used them to catch diesel and oil from my tractors. They work great from that. They clean up nicely as well.

These are high quality bins that are great for storage, wash bins, soaking stained clothing, or whatever else you need. It's great to have a handful of them because you can use them in multiple applications.

These tubs are a bit shinier and stiffer than I expected. The listing just says "high-quality commercial plastic" so I wasn't sure what I'd be getting. These bins are marked #2 PE on the underside. Polyethylene is stiff and is more temperature-resistant than polypropylene, so I expect these will be more versatile for unheated garage storage or if you're using them in a freezer. There are little cross-members/gussets on the underside of the lips so they don't bow outward when you carry a loaded tub. The sidewalls are pretty vertical which means that when fully nested, it's a little difficult to remove one from the stack, but a more vertical sidewall is an advantage in other applications. Overall I like these tubs. Right now I'm using them in the shop but I might make a sensory play table for my kids and use these there.

We ordered these YYQX Commercial Tubs to use for reasons other than busing and dishwashing. Four black plastic tubs are in this set. They are nicely sized and can hold a variety of items. Each tub is rounded at the corners and has a lip going around the top. At each long end are gripping handles for easy placement of your hands. The basins measure close to 17" x 12.5" x 4.75". The depth of the tubs is especially appealing. Each of the tubs are made entirely of plastic. As far as thickness, I would say this set runs somewhere in the middle of lightweight and heavy duty. It does feel strong and durable to last for years. The biggest plus about these basins is that they can be used for a variety of jobs. Gather ripe fruits and vegetables from your garden or orchard. Squeeze in a dollop of gentle soap and wash those dirty dog paws. Keep your dry goods from rattling around in your RV while driving. Handwash your delicates. Store your plumbing, electric, automotive and painting items. Use the tubs to organize your workshop or garage. Mix up a batch of concrete for a small job. Throw you food scraps in a basin for easy disposal. They are perfect receptacles for storing your art supplies. Fill with bags of ice and keep your soft drinks, beer and water bottles chilled. The possibilities are endless! When not in use, stack the tubs on top of each other for easy compact storage. We will use these sturdy plastic tubs for years to come.

Upfront: I don't use these to bus tables, or for a restaurant at all. I have long used bus tubs in my workshop as a way of handing parts removed from vehicles that may be dirty, or need to stay together for later reassembly, and often to also collect required replacement parts to go back on a vehicle with the parts being reused.I like them because, first of all, they don't leak an fluids. And if parts are greasy or dirty, that doesn't foul up the floor or workbench areas. These are a bit smaller footprint than ones I prevously bought from food service suppliers. Actually, that's better in that we now have some smaller ones for smaller parts. The big ones were often a lot of space not needed. But for actual food service use, keep that in mind. They might work better in some kitchens, but Not my area of expertise.By comparison, standard ones are usually 20" X 15" footprint, and 4" to 6½" deep. These are 17" X 12½" footprint, and 5" deep. That's 30% less in overall footprint. so not a tiny difference. But as I said, that's a welcome alternative to larger ones. These tubs in either size are easy to move around even with heavier objects in them. And they fit on moveable carts well. We even use some for parts cleanup, and for holding some parts over time for rebuild. So I find them extremely useful. Even sometime use them in back of car to organize shopping, and not just for work materials.Otherwise, they appear to be as tough, durable, and thick as the more expensive but larger ones I've bought from food service suppliers. So unless the smaller size is an issue, I think the price for four of these is quite good. I have not complaints about them.

I wanted these tubs for several uses, and they are perfect for many home uses. They are roomy and strong and have a nice depth to them. Easily stackable, good looking and well-made. I just don't know that they would stand up to EVERYDAY professional use for a long time, as the plastic is not super thick. However, they ARE heavy enough for home use. I want them for garage storage of lose items like tools, paint supplies, and electrical parts, but they could be handy for all sorts of uses, and they will hold up to some work. You could mix soil with them for potting plants, mix up a small batch of concrete or drywall mud, put them under your car to catch oil when changing your oil, wash dishes with them while camping, ice down some frosty beverages or use them for under the bed storage. For about six bucks a bin, they seem like a great value to me.

I didn’t think that I would get so excited about receiving “Commercial Bus Tubs,” but these utility tubs are awesome. The size is good (easy to carry), they are well-made, and I like the color (doesn’t show dirt). My mind immediately went to work as soon as I opened the box—these would be great to use in the kitchen, in the laundry room, in my sewing room, in the playroom, in our pantry, in the garage, in the shed, in our camper van, and in my greenhouse—these tubs have so many uses. As you can see in my picture, two of the tubs went to immediate use for sprouting green beans. I might even use them as potting containers for the beans, since beans have a shallow root system. The Dishwashing Tubs stack easily, and with so many utility uses, I may need to buy more. I recommend them.
