Common Culture - Bio Trellis Netting - 5 ft x 15 ft with 6-Inch Squares - Heavy-Duty Plant Support - UV ResistantI needed a someone temporary solution to hide a bright white fence so I thought a biodegradable trellis might be a good idea. I planted morning glories and moon flowers at the base and time will tell how well this holds up to how dense I hope these vines will get and just how well this will hold up to the Florida sun and humidity. I will update my review if it does not work out well.Putting it up was easy with two people. Unrolling the trellis initially wanted to get all tangled so one of us held the roll while the other attached to the poles. I secured with zip ties because that is what I already had. The netting material is a good heavy duty line and is very well made.

I am impressed by how sturdy this netting is compared to brands I've used in the past. The 6" openings should be perfect for harvesting. I'm pleased that it won't break down into more microplastics in my garden to end up in my pond and creek. I've installed it into my high tunnel and the pole beans I planted have started to climb up. I hope to get a few years of use out of it before needing to replace it.

I am using this together with homemade bamboo trellis sections to save money on garden center pre-built types. This strong, light netting is perfect for all kinds of climbers like cucumbers, tomatoes, passion fruit, bitter melon, etc. The material can be re-used after several cycles, but it's also not high cost if things get too messy and you just need to dump it. Netting can be used creatively to stretch across otherwise awkward spaces in the garden to maximize growing space. My next project will be to use this overhead in a narrow, sun drenched alley that is otherwise wasted space.

This looks and feels like plastic trellis without me having to use plastic in the garden and that brings me lots of joy. This is held a hoodie on a hangar and is very strong. It doesn't break if you pinch it tight between your fingers and cuts easily with a knife. The size is great for a backyard garden and I used 5 foot sections and they are 6 inch squares which makes it easy to use in any garden. Because of how similar it is to plastic in strength it makes it easy to use in the garden and useful for many different projects and a good tool to have for your garden.I think this a great deal and I like leaving plastic out of my garden. I also love that it comes in a net I can re-use.

So far, I have only taken it out of the package to look at it and see what it is like. I will install it when I plant our beans at the end of April. It feels thick and sturdy, like it will hold the weight of growing greenery. It is well made and easy to stretch out to full size. I will tack it to a pallet in our garden when the time comes. Right now, you can see through it. I think it will look very nice and full once the beans grow up it. This seems like it will be very easy to install and will function well. I will update this post if it does not. I would recommend this!

The Bio Trellis is providing excellent support for the plants, we just love the 3.5 inch squares and I’m stoke to know once finish using it will decompose, reducing waste in the landfills
