A clever idea; creating a handle for the variety of blades we have lying in our tool boxes. Great tool for miniature work. I like to assemble plastic models and the file set is great for that. The blade variety runs from fine detail to coarse work. The blades lock in firmly. The coarse blades suggest it can be used to cut basic lumber stock but those blades should be limited to Styrofoam type materials.Because of the short length of draw on the blade, it's not going to do well on board stock over 1/4" thick. In other words, you'd regret trying to cut a 1x4 after 10 minutes or so. It could be used like a mini keyhole saw for cutting holes in sheetrock. It might be a handy camp tool. But the further you move from hobby/craft work, the less effective the tool becomes.

I have wanted a jigsaw blade handle for a long time but the one that I was looking at was very costly. When this popped onto the recommended list, I snagged it immediately.Boy am I glad I did. The handle is comfortable and had some nice grip, and the blades (and needle files!) have no issues staying put while you use them, no matter how aggressive you're cutting or filing.Super handy tool for making those random cuts like squaring a drilled hole or something else where you just can't get other tools into the space.

This tool has earned a place in my tool bag due to its compact size and versatility. The handle measures only about 5" long, but feels sturdy and has an ergonomic rubberized grip surface. It also grips the provided jigsaw blades (with standard t-shanks) and mini files pretty well. All parts are provided in a plastic clamshell case which doesn't have any dividers for storing the blades and files, but does latch securely enough that I don't have any reservation about carrying it in my bag.

The handle itself is comfortable. I find it small, but the contours and overmolded grips make it easy to control the tool. I think it is ideal for the included needle files. The files are decent. I don't know how long they will last, but they are easily replaced if needed. The quick-change hardware is really good. It's easy to work, but also holds files and blades firmly. The quick-change head is held in the handle by two counter-sunk machine screws, with M3-0.50 threads. The tool I received had the head misaligned with the handle, due to one of the screws being inserted at an angle and cross-threaded. I had to use a tap & die set to repair the threads on the screw and in the head before I was able to reassemble it correctly. That should have been caught by quality assurance before this was sold. I deducted one star for that problem, since I had to make repairs that some people would be unable to do. Given the option, I would also deduct a half star for some of the blades. All of the blades have good, sharp teeth. However, all of the longer blades are either curved or bent to one side. That shortens their useful length.Overall, I'm still happy with the tool, but I think it would be better priced at around $15, rather than the approximately $20 it costs at the time of this review.

This COMOWARE File & Handsaw Set, 3 Saw Blades & 12 Diamond/Needle Files is a handy tool to have in your wood or hobby shop. The small size makes it great for working in small areas where full sized files and saws are not an option. They came in a nice hard plastic case which was a bonus and small enough to keep in your tool bag. For the price, quality and functionality, I recommend this kit.

This is a great little tool that is highly functional with its many different capabilities. The blades are thin, which allows for quick cuts and agile movement. The handle is durable and well shaped for my hands. Great value for my money. The files are my favorite though.
