The larger hole that goes over the carb stud bolt was misaligned. I have the impression that most of them probably do, but there is poor quality control. Widened the hole with a drill, metal was soft. When I got it over the stud the other smaller hole didn't line up with the hole in the carb. Was about to widen that one too when I noticed that the allen screw provided to go in the second hole was way too long to mount in the hole because of the linkage above the hole. The screw should be about half as long. With this little attention to detail and the metal being soft, there is no way I am trusting this thing to return my throttle. Just buy the Moroso return spring kit. It is more expensive, but not as expensive as buying this one and then the Moroso one.

I ordered this trying to clean up my throttle linkage on my Ford 351W, Edelbrock intake, Autolite 4100 carb. Although I believe it could be made to work, it does not appear to be able to work on my carburetor.The holes in the mount that attach by way of the carburetor studs do not line up with this particular carburetor. I believe it could be made to work however (and may try to work on it more over the next few weekends).The accelerator pump linkage on this carburetor interfere a little bit with the return spring bracket, but may be fine once it is mated to the carburetor body. The linkage on the throttle also does not have any vacant holes for the return spring to mount, I may just need to find a different linkage.The product is fine overall. There are two pairs of springs so you can pick your pressure, the welds are sufficient, but there is a fair bit of splatter under the chrome.

Worked great! Springs were to stiff for my liking. Just ran to the hardware store and got 2 lighter springs.

Great product wish all the bolt where stainless or chrome theres a mix of bolt types. No allen wrench. Springs where difficult to install but the over look it great just what i was looking for

Fit exactly as it should and worked perfect on a Holley Sniper unit. I had to modify the carb stud fitting, but that was due to being lazy and not going out to buy a longer stud to allow for the spring bracket. The light weight springs with the Sniper was the perfect combo.I will be buying another for another build with a Holley Carb shortly.

I used this on a Demon 650. Required quite a bit of modification to prevent it from contacting the accelerator pump arm. Well made though with plenty of options as to how much return force you would like.
