This is a nice sturdy thick well made bracket set and yes it fit my 460 Ford v8 with no problems/mods, The 2 things that kept me from 5 staring it is, 1. Alt mounts bolts was missing (i used 2 old ones i had hanging around), 2. the base alt spacer bracket seems as if it too long but you have to wiggle/pull on it a bit for it to fit DO NOT TRIM/CUT IT, its used as a hold tight fitting for the alt and it needs to be super snug. Other then those 2 items... its perfect.
