This mirror was a perfect fit for my SL550 R231. It was easy to replace. You’ll need to break off the existing mirror assembly in order to get it off. This one just snaps into place. Please make sure the tabs which get broken off from the old mirror are removed from the visor before you snap the new one in so there is no obstruction. NOTE: The color is a light beige. Not a perfect match but sufficient.

Wow, great item…..just a slight gray color difference. So slight my very picky wife didn’t notice.Installation was a snap. It is a press fit OEM installation so I just used a table knife, wedging underneath a corner area and lifted..it popped. I worked around the mirror popping points til the old mirror was fully free. Aligned the new mirror and pressed….hah, it’s installed. And the light worked when I opened the flap. Oh, so simple. This assembly and its installation is a solid 10 of 10. Installed on a 2019 C300

First of all, I think this is my first ever review that I have written for a product. Although, with inflation and me just not making the money I used to, I have to see if I could find a replacement mirror for my car. I couldn’t afford to take it to Mercedes Benz and pay the ridiculous fee of over $200 to have it replaced. Also, I can’t express to you how disappointed I was to have my vanity mirror break in my 2018 Mercedes Benz GLC300, right after I paid the darn thing off.I took the chance and bought this mirror and I couldn’t be more thrilled. I was able to change it in less than 5 min. I was so nervous taking the other mirror off, which did not come off easily, but it was broke and I didn’t need anything from that piece to fix it. Well, I pried that pos off and snapped the new piece easily into place and like a the light came on. I am thrilled enough to take the time to leave a review. I don’t know about y’all, but I never expected a luxury car to be so cheaply put together. Thankfully, sellers like this one did not scam me into buying a part that wouldn’t work-which was a concern. It is like brand new. I don’t want and really can’t afford to get a new car right now. Thank you for giving this broke a$& Bitty an affordable replacement. I am so pleased. Do not fear, it was so easily replaced. I 100% recommend this seller and this part.

My original Mercedes driver side visor mirror broke because it would "slam" shut. I asked our Mercedes dealership if this was covered under my extended warranty. They said NO and told me I needed to purchase a whole new visor, not just a replacement mirror. SO UNTRUE! I ordered this replacement piece for my 2017 E300. I carefully pryed off the original mirror from the visor. It sorta sounded like I was breaking it but it was just coming off the plastic attachments. I removed the old one, snapped on the new one and it works perfectly! I open the lid again and the light comes on, just like the original. VERY happy!

I’m really happy I found this product. It saved me a few hundred dollars compared to getting it from the dealer. It looks about 99% identical to the genuine Mercedes part. The only tiny difference is the size of the rubber on both sides when you open the mirror, which you will hardly notice. Installation was easy; I just used a tool (I used a slotted screwdriver) to remove the original part and replace it.
