Went on a little too tight but it seated. Believe that the filter standoff are pressing against the inside of the pan. I think it will be ok though.

So I take my vehicle into a shop to change the pan and when they went to torque in by Moroso specs the gasket pushed out and away by one of the bolt holes. The shop had to remove the pan and do some tapping and beating to get the pan bolt flange level and flat to be installed. There was no damage on the shipping box at all so it had to have happened at the manufacturing facility. Not impressed with the added labor as what do you do when you vehicle is taken apart and you need it back.

Basically an OEM pan with a drain plug. Put it on my blazer. Works great.

Update: I believe the pan caused a leak. It does not match the stock pan in that the bolt holes are raised and the bolt holes on stock pan are flat. It developed a leak some time later. Very disappointing because I have to go back to the original pan. It's likely too late for a refund.---I prefer a steel drain pan for strength. This pan provides a drain plug making future changes easy and less messy. Time will tell how the gasket for the drain plug holds up, but a replacement should be available at the local auto parts store. I really like the gold/yellow zinc (?) plated finish.NOTE: no magnet is included with this pan.

I am very pleased with the oil pan, especially the drain plug which is the reason I bought it. In my opinion, a very good value for the money!
