Used it for a chalk drawing I made on the sidewalk. Rich black, good coverage, sticks held up to the coarse texture.

Good product, good value for money. Not easy to erase, for erasing willow is better. This one gives great coverage.

Arrived quickly. I hadn't used compressed charcoal before; it's nice to use, not as messy as willow charcoal or conte/sketch stick, it goes on smooth, darker than willow charcoal but not as dark as a conte stick. Also a fraction of the price of some of the other popular brands; good value for money, I want to try other sticks( gray, colour earth tone) in this range . This is a must for any art student!

A good product at a good price. Compressed charcoal can be quite expensive, so I was pleased with the value of this product.
