Looks to be of good quality. The threads look to be in good condition and the tool should work as described. I have not used it as of this review. That's why I rated it 4 stars. I can not see any defect or reason for the tool not working as described. It should work as needed. I have had to replace several toilet supply valves, which is why I made the purchase. Hoping the tool will make life easier if and when I need to replace the next water valve.

Need to replace a faulty shutoff valve. This pulled the compression ring off in about 30 seconds, and I was able to replace the shutoff with a sharkbite.

NPT threads do not thread onto the compression nut on supply stop valves. This puller has national pipe threads that do not fit the threads on the 1/2 angle stop compression nut. It may work fine in other applications but not for residential plumbing.
