So last summer I found an all weather sleeping bag at a yard sale for $5 and it didn't have its bag with it but I didn't care it was in great shape and only $5. Well this winter I didn't know exactly how to store it other then roll it up but it takes up alot of space and we don't have much space to begin with. In comes this bag and I can't say enough good things about it. My sleeping bag now takes up only about half the size it did before. Its protected from dirt and dust and its not as cumbersome to carry around now because the bag has a handle on it.

This is a great little compression sack. I got the medium size and it fits my overquilt nicely. I am leaving it completely stretch out for storage and will cinch it down when I'm ready to travel. The buckles are good quality and I also like that it has a grab handle across the bottom. When fully compressed, it held it's profile and none of the straps loosened. The bag's material is thick, but only time will tell how it holds up to some abuse. None of the inside seam edges are sealed with bias tape (they're blanket stitched), so I'll probably be dealing with little stringy pieces of fabric as time goes on. With all of that said, at a price point of $10, this is a good compression bag.

Took me a bit to figure it out as this arrived in a small box without instructions. But it was not problem. Somehow just putting the sleeping bag into the main compression sack sleeve was easy part and no way to mess that up. Then the cap part with the straps which initially confused me just fit on top and buckled down allowing the straps to be tightened. From there, the once big, out of control sleeping bag was compressed into an easy to handle package. No instructions were needed. Just put the large, bulky sleeping bag, comforter or blanket into the main bag and the rest just made sense. The result is a small package suitable for storage or travel. It works to make a big bundle into a little one.The compression bag is made of a good strong material that is well put together. It looks and feels like quality that will last for years of use and even abuse. This is a good accessory for backpack, hiking or home and closet storage. Nice and for the price, an essential compression bag for home, hiking, storage or travel. This TANSTRIDER Compression Stuff Sac does the job and water resistance and dust and dirt protection is a bonus. Great for the price.

i can fit my summer sleeping bag into the medium. only thing was when cinching down the straps i may have over done it to an extent but it showed me its durability as well. i did a star pattern if you will when cinching top bottom left right type thing. the strap with no effort wound up stretching and ripping off. crazier thing besides low pressure rip. it ripped at the seam. the seam was fine which indicates excellent stitching but very pour strap quality. bag still closes with three straps and my sleeping bag now has bag to keep it clean and tighty

This nylon sleeping bag compression bag is working out well. It has held up after two camping trips and has made packing the sleeping bag down much easier. The bag is light weight and sturdy and is holding up well. Overall, the bag makes getting everything organized for camping much easier.

This worked for my needs, but I worry about the long-term durability. I use this for my backpacking sleeping bag. It fits great, and the sack does what it's supposed to, but the nylon feels very cheap and I worry about the stitching holding up over a few uses. I will report back after I have had a chance to use it a few more times.

This is a pretty nice stuff sack, it's big enough to fit even my larger sleeping bag. Even though the bag itself isn't very compressible, it still managed to shrink it down about 20-30% smaller. The straps and material seem to be pretty sturdy under moderate compression. The material is smooth and would be good for both storage and travel. At this price point, it's a pretty good value too. All in all, I'd recommend it.

I want to love this sleeping bag compression stuff sack, but it is not durable at all. I ordered a size Medium to use for my son's 5 degree sleeping bag. It weighs 3.75 oz/0.234 lbs. We went on a one-night backpacking trip this past weekend and he used this compression sack for his sleeping bag on that trip. The second time it was tightened (returning the sleeping bag to the stuff sack after camping) one of the straps started fraying. It hasn't made it through being tightened twice before it broke. There wasn't any unnecessary force put on it. We have multiple other compression stuff sacks from different companies and have never had an issue like this from any of them. I do not recommend this product.
