I tried many different compression products over the last couple of years. All purchased with my own money. This compression shirt not only didn’t shrink or wear after several washes, but it also maintains solid durability. Worth the price tag; use it for running, cycling and even swimming. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!

I'm 5'10" 170 athletic build. But I'm old. Got the white L. I get medium in most shirts, including other comp. shirts. If this shirt were any tighter, I wouldn't be able to breathe. Shoulders and biceps were the primary culprits. But I own a couple of Comp Z shorts and I love the nylon fabric, and I know the fabric will loosen up just a little although nylon generally holds its shape. Only problem is that you have to plan how to take the shirt off. I got stuck in an awkward position, almost had a coffin like panic attack, like being buried alive, and darn near dislocated my shoulder getting it off. You get the point. But it hugs your torso. That's hard to find. I'm going to buy a small for my girlfriend. The fabric is light and strong and feels great. Good quality. I might get it in black also, but I'm going to try XL.

What a great shirt, not at all what I expected, but far, far better! With this shirt, I really have no fear of the coming winter months ahead!

I bought this top and the matching bottoms to use for a Tough Mudder. I am getting ready for my second event. The first one resulted in the expected bruises, cuts and abrasions that I was promised, but it took a while for things to heal. I also pulled a pectoral muscle. No complaints - just trying to be smarter this time around, so thought a little protection might not be a bad thing.I have had them for less than a week and have run in them 3 times. Here in Maine it's summer but we have inconsistent weather, so I have run in hot/humid conditions, wet/cool/rainy conditions and sunny drier weather. So far, so good. the top and bottoms have performed great - I have not overheated and in the cool/wet weather, i was warm. The shirt is great, not as constrictive feeling as another compression top I have for winter - the material is thinner, but not weak or flimsy - and its surprisingly comfortable for a compression top. The bottoms are a little long for me - I am 5'9" and 180lbs with a 32 inch waist and a 31 inch inseam - but they are also comfortable and seem durable.I have been training since April for my event at the end of August. While I cannot say it its psychological or not, I have clocked 3 of my best times on trail runs I have been doing for months this week. It's likely that I have just trained enough that I am seeing gains/improvement, but it also could be that I don't feel as fatigued while running.Bottom line - For the cost, I have no regrets. I bought the set for what I could have paid for a top OR a bottom and they seem to be fantastic so far. I will update after I have beat the hell out of them in the Mudder and evaluate their performance (and mine) then.UPDATE 8/25/14: Ok, so after completing the Tough Mudder yesterday, i have to say i am impressed. The top and bottoms performed very well, keeping me warm after all the drops and dunks into water and keeping me comfortable in the heat. Best part was the durability - I had decided to try long bottoms and top in an attempt to save myself some abrasions and abuse, and these were up to the task. After multiple crawls through mud, over mud walls and 10+ miles running through woods and swamp, the set does not have a scratch or pull on it and i am happily without battle wounds. These survived everything thrown at it including fire. While I still feel that a second layer of fabric (not padding, just fabric) would be welcome at the knees and elbows, I have no real complaints. If you think you want to try some, just do it. They are worth the money spent. No regrets.

I waited to write this review until I had put the shirt through it's paces. I'm a power lifter primarily and got this shirt for my workouts. So far it's excellent, it whisks sweat away during heavy workouts, keeps me feeling cool and comfortable and fits surprisingly well considering my size. I'm a big guy, 6'2" 56" chest 42" waist and on a lark I ordered the XL, the biggest one they have. It fits quite well and is very comfortable. So much so that I thought I'd experiment and wear it a full day under my work clothes, dress shirt and tie. It held up very well, was comfortable the whole day through and the tightness made my aching back feel pretty good after a heavy dead lift workout the previous day.At first the odd piping threw me off but once the shirt was on and everything was properly in place the piping makes sense and seems to be designed to help the shirt retain it's shape and mold to your musculature in way that's quite comfortable. I had to play around with neck a little but but that's mostly due to my size, no fault of the shirt. The bottom edge has a rubberized trim that actually locks the shirt down nicely and keeps it from riding up during workouts. All in all this is a fantastic shirt for the price. Definitely an under garment, you'll want to wear your usual t-shirt and shorts or what have you over it as the material is a bit sheer, at least the white is but again, it could just me stuffing a bit too much meat into this sausage skin. if they offered a size larger I'd probably order that next time around.
