I bought these 3 months ago and they are already losing sound quality. They now sound muffled and I have to keep turning them up. I did not love them at first but decided to give them a shot, now I will be looking for new speakers. Don't buy, they do not produce quality sound and they do not last.

Small but pack huge sound. These speakers are very small and barely take up any desk space but they are pretty loud and have great sound clarity. Huge improvement over the laptop speakers I have been using. These connect to sound via the headphone jack and are powered by a regular usb connection

The sound in these are way better than I expected for USB speakers. They're exactly what I wanted: speakers that fit under the monitor, won't bother the neighbors with the bass, but still have a somewhat full sound. The front grill is metal but the back still has exposed rubber, be aware in case you have pets that like to bite stuff.

These speakers sound very good for their price and size. The volume is quite good also. I like the fact that they plug into the USB port on my computer so when the computer is off, they are not on and using any power. The separate 3mm plug for audio input makes this easy to install w/o software and may provide better sound quality. Yes, I would buy these again.

The bass output is better than other small speakers I have tried before. The only real limit is the bass gets muddy at high volumes. But then again they're not meant for concert hall size rooms. I get more than enough volume for casual listening in bed. I'm using mine with an Asus notebook computer. One needs to plug in the USB cord in for power and the mini stereo plug for signal. I have them mounted on the bottom of my medical table. So they face forward and down somewhat once the table is tilted for a comfortable typing angle. They sound much better than the built in speakers in the NBC. Once I found a volume setting on the unit that I like I left it there. Now I just use the volume controls in the NBC and they work perfectly.

Excellent build quality, flawless operation so far and the sound is really good, well beyond my expectations. I bought the speakers just for speech listening and as a substitution for really abysmal built-in monitor speakers but they easily blew away all of my older PC speakers except the M-Audio AV40 which are clearly in another class anyway. Very clear treble (which I value most), and surprisingly deep bass for the size and power envelope. Passive radiators on the back really do their job. The only nit-picking complaint is the volume regulator. I'd prefer to have a switch-off possibility and mainly to shut that nasty blue LED. If it were any other color I would not mind that much but I do wish this stupid fashion for blindingly bright blue LEDs on all the devices to die at last. Sound does deteriorate if the listener is further than 2 m from them or very much off-axis but that's just physics. Overall, I would have given them 5.5 stars if I could and even 6 if the design of the volume regulator was not that cheap. Far more than just worth the price.

Perfect for audio I want to listen to when Im too lazy to turn on my Arctis 7 wireless. Sound quality isnt 10/10 but it gets the job done. I'd give sound quality for music 7/10 but listening to youtube videos is good. Wouldnt recommend for gaming.

I chose these speakers because of their classic style. Sometimes you get disappointed when you receive an item that is not as good as the description suggests. But it is quite the opposite with this purchase. The build quality of these speakers is impressive. The surface is made of rubberized material. A resonator vent at the rear reinforces the low frequencies, as on more expensive models. The packaging itself demonstrates the builder's attention to detail. Looks like the box of an iPhone. The sound is rich and deep. However, you should not expect to listen to music at a high volume with this kind of small speakers, which are simply powered by a USB port.

I've had these puppies for about 3 months & use them almost daily.Moments ago, I left a not-so-flattering (though not devastating), 3-star review, in which I decried the pair of speaker's lack of power. However, I later realized (being the idiot I am!) that the fault was entirely my own - having plugged them in to a weak USB port on my aging laptop - which, I found, proved to supply inadequate power & actually caused sound clipping at higher volumes. (Again, totally my own silly fault!)To summarize: this set of speakers is *actually* capable & sounds pretty darn good. While clearly no Bang & Olufsens, I think the price is well warranted for this level of quality. Sound is good, the USB power (when plugged into a "healthy" port) is a nice convenience, and I even dig the rubberized coating & rounded square design aesthetic. I'd say: definitely worth the price.

I'm truly amazed at the quality of these speakers. My original ones intended for my MP3 player (which is actually a phone without service) were falling apart so I needed a replacement. Being intended for having music going while I sleep, I wanted something that wasn't going to be so deafeningly loud or deep with bass so I looked for speakers with a frequency response from about 50 to 80 Hz at the lower end which generally meant getting small-sized speakers. These have 50 so they were at the lower limit of that. They're also only half the size of my previous speakers, surprisingly small.I had no intentions on going with a loud volume (I usually listen to music no more than 50 dB, typically around 40 dB, at 1 meter distance). I also wanted something that was at a decent price and these fit the bill very well, half of what my budget was intended on. These may be cheap, but the sound quality is almost on the scale of speakers at triple this price point. I wasn't expecting it to be that good! The fact that these are powered by USB, something I was considering passing up on, is actually a big advantage as I could just bring my portable USB charger with on travels and effectively have 24/7 music for a week straight (duration depends on the size of the portable USB charger)! There are a few downsides though. The biggest one is that the diaphragm (the part that vibrates to produce the sound) is exposed and vulnerable to damage if not carefully handled. If taking them with on travels, be sure to have the diaphragm facing away from everything or put it in a small, sturdy container to protect them. A simple mesh shield being integrated in around this area in the manufacturing process can help protect this fragile part.A minor weakness is that the volume control involves a turn wheel on a completely separate component and the blue LED is really bright so I have to cover it up with papers or something so it doesn't affect my sleep. I wished I could dim it or make it red instead of blue (as red is a much better color for sleep). There are 2 other weaknesses. The first is that the USB cable part is rather short so I had to buy an extension to fix that. The second is that, while plugged in, they tend to have this buzz. It's rather faint, at about 10 dB typically, but under certain conditions, depending where the headphone jack part is, it can get up to 30 dB.Although the first set of these speakers I got were DOA, Amazon quickly replaced them. The LED would never turn on no matter what USB device I use or player I use. Odd things like that happen, though it's rare. I gave them a second chance and it was well worth the wait.Overall, I really enjoy these speakers, though they could use a few minor improvements to their design. If you're not heavy into bass, want speakers to travel with or sleep to, these are a great choice and would definitely buy them again if I find a need to. I'd rate these 4.3 stars overall if I could. My included photo shows my typical setup. The phone is my music player and these speakers are playing the sound so nicely ready for me to rack up a few thousand more plays of my favorite songs.
