I bought this replacement crate tray because my GSD was chewing the original plastic tray that came with her crate. I had high hopes for it. I fits her crate and it’s metal. So on those points, it works. What was evident was the tray bottom is coated with a thin plastic coating that within just a day or so my dog’s claws began to scratch. A day or so after that, I woke up to a large section of the coating pealed off and pieces of it inside and outside the crate. She had also managed to eat some of the pieces. Fortunately, they passed through her system without issue. I sprayed the bottom with bitter apple spray to stop her eating, but no such luck. I ended up pealing the film off to make the tray safe for my dog. Also, because this is metal and not sitting directly on the floor, it is incredibly loud when my dog is inside and moving around. She can’t have anything that might dampen sound due to her penchant for eating things.

It came very well packed. The tray was very sturdy and well built. The problem was it would not slip into the opening of the dog kennel due to the height of tray sides too tall, but the width and length was perfect. Guess I should have measured the height also. Otherwise it would have been well worth the $.

This product doesn't even deserve one star. This is the worst piece of 💩. So thin it just bends and is very noisy. The top finish comes right off with the dogs nails. Definitely not worth the price. I could of bought a new kennel for what this cost. People, save your money, do not buy this.

This item is perfect for washing my oven racks. I pour hot soapy water over them. Let them soak for an hour and with little scrubbing they come out clean like brand new. Love it.

I was pleasantly surprised with the sturdiness and weight of the tray. There was no damage and the corners of the tray. They were very well protected in the shipping box. However, the 1 1/2” depth was a snug fit for the MidWest crate opening, but it barely slid into the bottom without too much a struggle. I might add that my crate doesn’t have any bent metal rods at the entry, though. I recommend slightly tipping the crate on its back for an easier slide installation. The cage security latch was a little difficult to push in front of the tray, but can be done with a little force. My husky has her bolster dog bed in it for now, so I don’t know how it will stand up to scratches till next summer. What I do expect is that it won’t crack down the middle with her weight like the plastic ones. I’m a 78 year old arthritic woman and I was able to complete the task all by myself with no problem. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

The pan did not fit. It was approximately 1/8" to wide. I measured several times to make sure I was ordering the right pan. It would not fit. I end up putting it in another crate which it was to long and not wide enough. But I had to do something. My puppy eats wrong things outside and tends to have Diarrhea. I need to clean up after her.
