We used he buckets to set up feed for 1o animals. They're a good size, easy to stick labels on and as they're taller rather than wider, fit compactly on a shelf. The opening is big enough to easily scoop feed in too.We took the handles off as they were superfluous for us and we don't normally use the lids.I can't yet comment about durability as we just started using them.
